Never get tired of this

I was there that day and remember thinking what the hell is the coach doing playing Danny Rose. And then that beautiful goal...

I believe that Gareth Bale also scored a cracker.

Heurelho Gomes made a spectacular save off a Van Persie free kick. The ball was heading for the top left corner and Gomes somehow stretched his frame to claw the ball away. In some ways that save has stayed with me longer as the moment of the match.

surely nobody is going to pay forty million for Rose now are they? He hasnt been anywhere close to his best for 14 months.

Would we sell him for less though?

Prices are so overinflated that we'd need to reinvest a fair bit to get a half-decent repalcement. He's also someone who we would happily keep. Therefore, I imagine it would take a hefty fee to tempt Levy and Poch.

Do we think he will play any more games this season ?
He's supposed to be back in full training now, so it's possible that he'll feature in the last week of the season. Davies wouldn't normally play three full games in one week (we have matches Sat, Wed & Sun).

I thought he started up front? Did he go to LB when Targett came off?

He at least spent the majority of the 2nd half there. I’ve always been hopeful of signing him but I didn’t see anything to suggest he’s got something special. Granted it was only 30-40 mins but he looked like an inexperienced youth as opposed to anything close to Bale mk 2.

Is Marc Benamram a trusted name around here? He's saying on twitter that Rose is on his way out with ManU and Chelsea interested.

If this breaks any rules let me know and I'll take it down.

Rose looks to be headed out the door, but there are some intriguing options to replace him.

I would like to see one of our U23 players Keanan Bennetts get a look at LB/LWB in the preseason. Bennetts has the size, athletic ability, and a good left foot. He has been excelling at the U23 level and deserves a chance to train with the first team this summer.

PSG LB Layvin Kurzawa would be another option for us and is being pursued by various other clubs (though I can understand how some people would be skeptical about us buying another PSG fullback)

Rose has to past a fitness test first. Hope he can-Praying hands
If thats to leave, i’ll be disappointed. We need him to stay. He’s the best full back we have. By far. Davies has been good deputizing but his weaknesses are there for all to see. Him and Trippier are just not good enough to be full time starters like they’ve been forced into this season. Full back has been our glaring weakness all year.

Then you need to prepare for disappointment. Rose will be gone as soon as we can shift him, I'm amazed some people still can't see it.

The situation, as with Toby, has nothing to do with ability.

Sounds like Man Utd are looking at Alex Sandro now. Could just be agent rubbish though as he’s linked with a move to England every window.

Manchester United have prioritised signingJuventus' Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro, 27, to replace Luke Shaw, 22, next season. (Manchester Evening News)

Yes , I was about to post this too . Danny has yet to recover his best form . Utd want instant results . Danny's position may not be as strong as he'd like .
