Where do you get this information that Danny Rose is a hero at the training ground? Reliable ITK says complete opposite. Giving the fact this is also a tight knit group who seem to share Pochs ethos I can’t see them believing he’s a hero.

The players get huge bonuses when playing. Funnily enough Danny Rose has been out injured for months so probably been feeling the pinch. This coninceding with he’s best pal walker earning triple his wage and sharing the same agent.. you could also add in that he has more than likely been tapped up and you can start seeing why this has happened, nothing to do with our transfer policy.

7 months and 15 games back he was happy to sign that long term contract, no one stuck a gun to his head. Wages haven’t changed that much since then... But still I wouldn’t begrudge him a move, I can’t put someone down for being ambitious. I like to see myself as ambitious but I wouldn’t shit over my employers and co-workers in the process.

There’s ways of going about this, going to a newspaper like The Sun and claiming poverty and putting your teammates down certainly isn’t it.

And who’s this player Leicester signed ahead of us? Is it the lad from City? The one which is a glorified (no risk to City) Loan?

many papers saying he returned to training with 'a hero's welcome'.

I feel so sorry for that petulant arrogant money grabbing whore of an arse. How does he cope on so little money while the rest of the working works pomps around in opulence. If only the players got paid anything like the supporters in the stands, wouldn't that be a fair world for the likes of Danny "the porper" Rose?

I do get the entertainment element and the parity with your colleagues and market rate etc etc but I also think that adults in this society need to act with some modicum of decency and morality. He should talk privately with his management and never speak to the press. I hope he has his pay suspended for a month as a fine for breaching the clubs code of conduct and sods off personally. No time for that type of character no matter his ability. Can't support him now even if he stays

Which will be utter tosh. Virtually every single player we have signed will have that thought in the back of his mind of "did he mean me?" When you consider the ethos Pochettino has built it's more akin to a family unit and why trouble makers get isolated/booted. They all talk of how much they respect MP so there is no way on Earth they will be welcoming him a hero when he's effectively questioned every signing the club has made under his tenure when he singles out VdV as a wow factor and ignores the people around him signed by his current boss.

Football hasn't been a sport for years but this summer is something else. Vastly inflated fees on average players while greedy twats that have essentially done nothing in their careers demand better money because they can look at clubs like United and see them paying donkeys like Lingard silly money. A year away from a new stadium on the back of two genuine attacks on the title and yet I still couldn't feel more out of love with this shitty "sport" than I do this summer. Bring on the burst bubble because it's getting beyond ridiculous

I'm sure this has already been mentioned but what a kick in the teeth this must be for Poch.

The manager has completely turned his career around and in doing so has made Danny England's first choice left back, which by the way Poch promised him he would deliver.

Then this. Absolutely astounding, and days before the season starts, too. I can only imagine Poch's emotions the next morning when he and Danny came face-to-face.

What a total lack of respect for the club and the teammates he allegedly thinks so much of. Such a shame.

For me, Danny can go. Hopefully we can get Sessengnon is next summer as Danny's replacement.

It is however critical that Poch stays above all else.

The Sun and The Daily Fail? Don't believe anything they say. I reckon Lloris, Kane etc. will be very angry with him!

Walker was different but by selling him before signing anyone we opened ourselves up for this.

I dont want Shaw id rather Rose play as hes a very good player and get on with it. The problem with this is it does highlight the wage thing to players in the squad and any potential players coming in. Levy has to stop trying to do this on the cheap we are now in the upper level in the league and to keep these players and to build we have to stop trying to take the piss or this will happen time and time again. Just because Rose in the only one to come out dosnt mean the rest are not thinking it. Try getting Toby to sign a cheap new contract now, not a chance.

To anyone saying Rose should be kept, I don't think its wise to do so. Mostly because of the fans, partly it depends on the actual reaction of the squad. Some may of praised Rose, but I suspect not everyone is impressed with his behavior.

But, he sitting on the bench fans are going to boo him, he gets on the field he'll be booed. I'm not sure that is going to help the team. Rose is a very good player but we played our best stuff last season without him.

Shaw is young, talented with a very high ceiling, he's worked with poch before and Mou hates him. He is gettable and would be good competition for Davies. Rose is 27, he has few more top years in him, thats it really.

The problem is, not sure Ma utd will go for him now he's injured. On fact it appears they wont. If Man utd put him up to it, they played him so well. Disrupts what we are doing, leaves us with a pissed off player in the hope we sell cheaply in Jan..

He will sign it, its is second deal in less than a year but like I said it doesn't mean it will fend off interest or does it mean he won't want to move on next season. He made it very clear he wants to win things and see us make some high calibre signings.

It's about money, pure and simple. That

Fuck off Danny Rose!
What the hell is he thinkin? Couple of days before PL kicks off.
He was on the verge of becoming just another sunderland/wba/hull-type left back when poch turned his career around.
And the wage thing...he seems to have lost touch with reality.
Hope poch lets him rot on the bench until january.

Apology was weak didnt retract the content and say he wants to stay.
Discount all of the rags reports about heroes welcome . As far as I understand he was given a cold shoulder by most of the players especially Hugo.
He can go as far as Im concerned unless he make a complete retraction, but that wont happen as no doubt he has been well tapped up by United.

Yeh well hes going to have to take a cut if wants his career to get going. Cos otherwise, goodbye career he's gonna stagnate an Man Utd, because no ones gonna match that.

People do take less money for footballing reasons, don't see why Shaw wouldn't.
