Apparently he was training alone in the open training session so probably had a knock.

This. He was training alone in the training session doing sprints. We got to meet the players afterwards and I asked him if he was not going to be playing because of it, he said probably not but he hoped he would. I guess he didn't pass the fitness test.

It must be an indication we're confident with our transfer targets. Year in the Championship could be great for Josh.

But Poch named him as one of those who'll be getting more involved the coming season. First time Poch has told a lie?

Brilliant news if true as it means Poch has softened his stance on loaning youth players - Does youth players the world of good playing regular competitive games imo

Nope. But I doubt he lied when he said it. That was probably his intention at the time. But, things change.

I don't understand this one. Poch has always said he prefers younger players to stay and train with the with the first team. Plus he also said h was gonna give onomah more game time this year.

This to me also suggests that sissoko ain't going anywhere.

Because we can't just have wanyama, winks, dembele and dier for the middle, especially when dier will play mainly at centre back, that leaves us too light in the midfield two.

I know last season sissoko played mainly attacking right, but lamela is on his way back and if we're playing 3421 then I think sissoko will more likely be played in the midfield 2 position as he definitely can't play as one of the two behind kane.

Yeah loaning out a CM to make room for an AM who is replacing Sissoko really makes sense:rolleyes:
Well Poch clearly doesn't see Onomah as a CM at the moment, does he?

1. We had those CM options last season
2. Sissoko played in CM once in an emergency against Burnley
3. Poch apparently thinks Barkley can play CM

Yeah and look how much we struggled in terms of depth attempting to compete in in Europe too.

Barkley is much better in a more advanced role, I personally don't think he's the right fit for a CM position.
