They want rid. He wants out. We're the sexiest name he's been linked with. Maybe he wants a buy-out clause.

It could be that the PSG part isn't the problem.
Of course but Herc had mentioned "PSG's unreasonable terms" a few pages back so I am drawing a throughline (knowing full well I could be off base). Very well could be the whole lot are unreasonable.

Think it is a very difficult deal to do for anyone. Valencia cannot afford him.
PSG really aren't going to get what they want here. He's not exactly tearing the place down with his successes

Can't help but think that PSG are bluffing somewhat in an attempt to get a club to bite on their crazy valuation, whatever that may be.

This will run to deadline day I think and eventually they will be forced to accept the best offer on the table that day to get it done and recoup what will be a fairly small percentage of the money they have splashed out on Neymar and Mbappe.

Assume PSG want substantial amount up front to make FFP look better after Neymar. Would imagine Mr Levy will try to do a deal if it gets nearer to the deadline

According to reports they've got to make up 75 million euros, so I guess they have to be unreasonable.

That’s the kind of thing that makes DL want to do a deal. He will know he can get them down on the fee on deadline day because of it.

Tottenham want Lucas Moura but PSG must lower £35m asking price

Well, hopefully we can indeed lower the price but £35m isn't too outlandish in the current climate. Brazilian international playing for one of Europe's biggest clubs - 11 goals in 36 league appearances last season as a winger. Considering we paid £30m for Sissoko two years ago, £35m for the transfer fee isn't that bad.

No, I think you're right in that respect. Unfortunately the break-down Herc gave that displayed what our budget could look like and how it needs to be spent accordingly showed how difficult it is. Don't want Poch over spending on a player only to miss out on a more pressing area (CM) because that extra 10m was used elsewhere.
