fight fight fight!! :)

this threads made me laugh on a hungover friday morning.

Why cant we question what Poch is thinking? (not saying any of us are right or wrong) we are fans who pay stupid amounts to follow this club and this is a forum (sometimes).

i would also like to keep the thread on track and reiterate my thoughts on Sissoko and that he is shite :p

You can question Poch. It just gets tiring reading the constant stream of bile poured out in this forum every day. It's like a bunch of giggling schoolgirls in the playground. We know he's not very good. He's come in and done the best he can, hasn't moaned or slagged the club off, yet, gets called shit, wank and a mung bean all the time and it's fucking boring.

When is he going to play when Wanyama comes back? We have to adjust our formation to even fit him in because he can only play on the right in a midfield 3. Poch plays him because thats all we have.

If Poch continues to play Sissoko ahead of a full list of Son/Lamela/Eriksen/Alli in a front 4 - or ahead of Dier/Wanyama/Dembele/Winks in CM - then Poch must take full responsibility for what @Bus-Conductor might do. I'm OUT!:D

i once got chased by a baby elephant looking for food (that he thought my guide was carrying).... i have the same sensation watching Sissoko when he gets on the ball....surprisingly fast and more destructive than youd think.

But at the end of the day still the capacity of a baby. I get it - good analogy.

As far as calling him names goes, I agree, it's a bit unnecessary, but as for the rest, ie debating his merit and the decisions of Pochettino, what else do you expect to find on an internet football forum?

It's a bit like walking into a McDonalds and getting all pissy with the staff because all they are selling is burgers.

I have removed the name I called him, but my point in the match ratings thread and in here was more about Pochettino than it was Sissoko, and I made that abundantly clear, and I think it's a valid point.

I think it doesn't help when we get people trying to exaggerate his performances as well, calling him great, our best player "making mugs of his critics" etc. It's just as ridiculous as those slagging him off.

I have no problem with people debating his merit at all. What I have a problem with is people, even after he plays ok, falling over each other to pile in to his player thread to call him shit again.

I was one of the many who didn't think he as good enough for us when we signed him. From what I'd seen of his 2 and a half years in the Prem for Newcastle and read about his time in France the signing just didn't make much sense to me.

At his age there was not a huge amount of scope for improvement and he wasn't good enough to just jump in and perform straight away.

At the beginning of the season I felt there was some improvement. He seemed a bit fitter and the positions he was taking up was messing with the opposing teams formation.

Unfortunately, this hasn't been enough to make him a genuine asset.

One thing I have been impressed by is his attitude. Lots of talk of a lackof application at Newcastle but here he has worked hard, admitted his failings and done his best.

So no hatred from me. He was the wrong signing but has done his best.

Sissoko may well be a limited footballer, but he does seem to give everything he has for every second he's on the pitch.

He may have been a poor choice of signing, he may have cost a ridiculous amount of money, and he may not be very good- but none of those things are his fault.

He applauds the fans when he gets substituted and at the end of every game. He hasn't cried about anything, he's just gotten his head down and worked hard to try and fit in, and get into our team, and he's shown every indication that he wants to be part of our club.

Some of the criticism on here is way over the top. The man's trying his best for us, but because he's not as good as most of our other players he gets slaughtered.

Steffen Freund is a cult hero for goodness sake- so can we not cut Sissoko a little bit of slack?

Rather than cutting Sissoko slack, can't we just slaughter Freund to even things up?

Sissoko is the second most expensive signing in the clubs history

Christ that is depressing :(:( What a waste of £30m and wages. No doubt his effort has been very good this season. It is a sad fact he just isn’t a talented footballer. He wouldn’t get near the bench of the other top 5 clubs, let alone their starting 11. Levy got properly bent over on deadline day, Ashley must still be laughing at that deal. As for fans slagging him off on here, so what. It isn’t like any of the players read these forums. I wouldn’t go near forums if I was a player. I would never boo him at a game, especially as he does try. I’ll contrinue to say he’s a mediocre footballer on here though, because he is. I’ll be happy when he’s moved on and replaced with someone with more quality.

Vs Brighton he had best pass completions of any starting player 93.5%(77 passes).
2nd starting match in a row he has done this.

He's just so big and the ball is so tiny compared to him. It's no wonder he takes fifteen touches to bring it under control as it must be like a ping pong ball in his eyes. We need a bigger ball for him ... a beach ball for example! :D
