We should be positive and hope that poch will eventually get the best out of him and janssen, it took lamela time hopefully they will improve.
sissoko is at his peak, but his peak aint good enough. Hoping he will come good, ask the newcastle fans that, they have been waiting forever for him to turn good.

I have to laugh at people using the "asked the bar code fans... blah blah blah" as an argument to validate their hatred or dislike of Sissoko. Newcastle has been poor for a few seasons right up to their relegation. Asking what their fans think of Sissoko is totally irrelevant. Why don't people asked fans of the French national team about their opinions on Sissoko? Someone claimed that the Euros is of poor standard hence Sissoko can flourish in it. I wonder what that makes of England and their players? The dogshites of a shite Euros?

He has been OK for us overall - he's impacted a few games positively with assists, he's been more average in some. It was Wanyana who missed a gilt edged chance against Sunderland. Dare I say it, but Sissoko has looked far better value at 30m and Janssen at 18m who I think would go for less than 8m if sold tomorrow,

On the whole Jansen has probably performed slightly worse than Sissoko (though imo there's nothing in it) but if we had to get rid of one of them tomorrow I wouldn't hesitate in choosing Sissoko.

If we sold both of them we'd be looking at selling them at half the price we paid for them IMO. If you rule out china can you honestly see anyone paying more than £15m for Sissoko?

I'm sure there was talk of performance related clauses as well when the transfer happened. So it's almost certainly not a straightforward £30 million over 5 years. People don't need to get angry about this either £30 million is fuck all in today's game for a start.

Just chill the fuck out. He's not the first bad signing we've made, and he certainly won't be the last. He's been here half a season, he's had some poor games, he's had some average games, he hasn't yet had any outstanding games that justify his signing, let along a high price tag. This doesn't mean he won't prove his worth to the team in the run in, or indeed in seasons to come.

As others have said, he has been involved in a few goals and at key moments in several games, he can be a right nuisance to the opposition, he's strong, and he's fast. We've lacked pace for a few years and we've all been crying out for it, so they went out and bought some pacy players, and we are all fucking moaning about it.
He's not even that quick, I can't see him being quicker than someone like Kane, at least on the ball.

he aint good enough. He has not shown glimpses of improving. He is 27 approaching 28, not 25 or younger.

He just looks lost playing right wing. Every time he's shown flashes of class is when he's come into the centre. I can't understand why Poch keeps bringing him on and sticking him out there to get paint on his boots.

As a ex-Toon player he could well have the distinction of both sets of supporters booing him!
