Sissoko hasn't remotely got the technical ability of Milner, but I get what you're saying. He got into great space and ran at them well last night. But his end product is simply poor.
A) It's not always poor.
B) Why does Eriksen avoid criticism when he dithers and loses the ball.

Er, yes, it does. He was that bad.Have i missed something? He still cant pass or shoot to save his life, his decision making is still poor but he has managed to run into space and hustle a few players.
Does that really constitute a 'massive improvement'? Essentially he's good until he has to kick the ball. I'm all for positivity and support but the overreaction needle has swung way too far.

Don't use the word 'improvement ' then. By the way, do you think his contribution to our performance against Real represents a real improvement on his contributions in general last season? Coz I do .I just feel that as a professional footballer a player should at the bare minimum become proficient at 'kicking the ball' before we define anything as real improvement.

Just because he started as a complete liability and now he is just crap doesn't mean we should all be praising him for being crap, he might make it to decent or even good but lets not get ahead of ourselves, he's still crap.
If i went to a restaurant and they served me raw chicken i wouldn't eat it and smile on the basis that last time i ordered it it was raw chicken covered in broken glass.

Don't know why you aimed that diatribe at me, I was just pointing out that he has improved.Just because he started as a complete liability and now he is just crap doesn't mean we should all be praising him for being crap, he might make it to decent or even good but lets not get ahead of ourselves, he's still crap.

But now you're here, his 'just crap' performance contributed, strongly I would say, to us holding a very good team to a draw at their place. How do you feel about that. Is it still not good enough?
I did ask a question, you didn't answer it. And it was a diatribe. You replied to me and then asked me a question, sorry if that caught you off guard. And thats not a diatribe, i used full stops and everything and didn't even say fuck or shitbags once.
He contributed to a good team performance and Poch clearly sees something and has a role for him, but individually he's still not performing at a level high enough. I saw people describe his performance as 'amazing', it's massively over the top for a player who still half the time looks like his brain and feet are on a satellite link up.
If any other player had performed like him this season they'd be baying for blood, he's playing worse than Lamela when Lamela was rubbish and people wanted him deported, people have gone a bit weird just because he's not appalling and looks interested.
Im happy he's better than he was and Poch knows more than me but people have gone well overboard is all. Shitbags.

If you focus on what he doesn't do well you just end up regurgitating the same stuff over and over again. See 99% of the posts in this thread for details.
But if you focus on what he does well, he's a handful. And paradoxically the bigger the game / the tougher the opponent the more of a handful he is.
