Pritchard is the player I wish we kept around.
Agree with that, and let him practice free-kicks with Eriksen.

I think Pritchard has a good loan at a CHampionship club which represents a nice step up in competition for him and will aid his development more than being in our reserve and youth matches with the odd cup game he might get a place on the bench for at this timePritchard is the player I wish we kept around.

I see Brentford have also taken a lad on loan from Sporting Lisbon.I think we did the right thing loaning him to Brentford and will be interested in seeing how well he does there
I may watch a few Brentford games this year - them, QPR and Fulham are my most local teams and I know a fair few Brentford fans and season ticket holders so when SPurs aren't playing if I;m free I may go and keep an eye on Pritchard as I did Bostock when he was loaned thereI see Brentford have also taken a lad on loan from Sporting Lisbon.

Don't worry. He's getting loads of game time at Brentford and earning rave reviews. If that continues in a tough league playing with a good footballing team we'll soon get the benefit.Pritchard is the player I wish we kept around.

Pleasure. I know one of the top people at Brentford and so know the on and off field position. The feedback has been that they are so impressed with his attitude, focus, tenacity, aggressive energy around the pitch in conjunction with his known skill level and box of tricks. As others have pointed out he is one of the potentially special youngsters we have. I'm just pleased he is in very good hands with a team that plays their football on the ground and through midfield.Excellent news. Thanks for the update.

Is back in training as he is on a photo on the Spurs page. Hopefully in the 18 man squad against Belgrad.
I think Mason would have started against West Ham if he hadn't gotten injured. Interesting to mention the putting him at CAM, as you played here most of his time in the academy and 1 season scored 29 in 31 games from that position.Hoping he starts honestly. If Poch isn't immediately comfortable with throwing Stambouli into the Prem just yet, I'd love a CM pairing of he and Mason for that match. Also wouldn't mind seeing him at CAM, but I do agree with Poch we massively struggle to get the ball forward from deep, and Mason is the type to counter such a problem.

I would definitely like to see him get some game time in both the CM 2 and the AM 3 at some point in the cups or Europe (if not the league).
Mason: The injury was frustrating

Midfielder could feature in Europa League on Thursday after latest comeback.
Ryan Mason has admitted the timing of his recent injury was frustrating.
The 23-year-old midfielder had a cracking pre-season and looked a genuine contender to start our opening league match at West Ham.
But Mason picked up an injury the day before our final warm-up game with Schalke at the Lane and only made his comeback in Saturday’s 3-2 U21 victory over Southampton.
He scored and played 60 minutes and now must be a contender to feature in the Europa League clash at Partizan Belgrade on Thursday.
“It was nice for me to get back out there after a little while off,” he told the Spurs’ official website.
“The injury was frustrating because I felt pretty close to getting some game time, but I think I’ve proved to myself and the manager tonight that I’m back to where I want to be fitness wise.
“We had some good bits of play during the game. It’s a young group of lads out there but the longer the season goes on they’ll learn and put what they pick up into action on the pitch.
“If they can stick together and keep developing there will be a lot of chances for them.”
Mason is a really classy a player and I hope he gets another chance to establish himself as a first team regular. Sadly, I’m worried his latest injury may have cost him a big chance.
If he’d played the opening matches and established himself, he may now be a squad regular but the injury means he must force his way past Etienne Capoue, Nabil Bentaleb, Paulinho, Mousa Dembele and now Benjamin Stambouli in the next few months.
