His injured, if he had as much luck with injuries as he was talented he would be proberly starting games.
Sorry wheeler dealer what is wrong with what I said, Ryan mason if he had not been so unlucky with injuries would properly be starting games the lad is one of the best we have produced but the last 5-6 years injuries have stalled his career don't you honestly believe if rose, Kane, bentalab, Townsend can start games than if mason had not had 5-6 years of injuries he would be starting games, I didn't say every game but it's very likely he would have started some, by now I was not just talking about this season, don't you think if he was not that good spurs would have realised him by now ?

We could have done with him alongside Capoue yesterday. We badly need someone who can move the ball quickly and accurately. Mason showed in preseason that he is excellent at that.

I'd be shocked if he didn't start vs Forest, hopefully he has a good game.

I'll be absolutely fucking stunned if he starts a single game all season - even though he should.

I think judging from the start of the season, both in terms of results and manner of play in comparison to Poch's intent, that change may be forced sooner than originally thought. I think Mason should, and will, get a chance sooner than he might have if the midfielders were actually playing as he has always intended and/or we were getting results.

A sign of how badly our squad has been managed over the last few years that he hasn't been given a chance until now.

Edit: Involved in all three goals so far.

Great performance, very happy for him.

Don't know why they kept saying he's not in the EPL squad, he is, and he should get some chances.

Good strike from 30 yards tonight for the first Spurs goal, changed the confidence level of the team immediately

Would play Capoue, Mason and Dembele again the Scum (dropping Chadli). Really think we need 3 in the middle so we don't get overrun like we did against Liverpool

Ryan Mason actually looked to play the ball forwards when he got possession.

In Schneiderlin's interview about how Poch improved his game, that's one of the main points about playing CM. Get the ball under control and immediately look for the forward pass. Or be aware of the forward pass option just before receiving the ball.

Of course it helps if there's some movement up front to hit.

Alternately, if no fooker's making a run, just stick it in the back of the net from 25 yards yourself. :)

Smith said several times he isn't in the prem squad, is that true?
