Comparing the two is daft, if we'd signed them both at the same time and they were both playing at same level yeah but Lamela has been in the first team a whole year longer and not made as much of an impact in the team as Mason has in his short time.

Why are people so mad on defending Lamela, does he have dodgy pictures of them stolen from icloud or something?

The only thing he has that Parker had is desire and grit. An all round much better footballer in terms of ability and vision.

As this is the Mason thread, all this talk about Kane for England, Ryan Mason is who should be playing for England.

Shades of Bryan Robson, the work rate is ridiculous. Mason is having one helluva season, going about it quietly where Kane gets the applaud.

Would be nice if next season we could have Walker, Dier, Rose, Mason, Pritchard and Kane in the England squad (maybe even Townsend). I can but dream.

And all probably should be too. Very exciting to see our youth actually given a chance. We may still finish 7th in the league, but considering how young our squad is, the future is all of a sudden looking rather bright.
