Unfazed, very tidy, couple of hazardous moments and was completely bypassed in the period between the equaliser and the Bentaleb sub but came through about as well as we could've hoped. We will definitely see more of him.

What was refreshing was that when he made a pass he didn't just stand there and think his job was done, there were several driving runs forward to be in a position to get the ball and for us to counter.

That's the thing about him, he's a true Spurs type of player.

Almost starts running into the passes he's making, looking to create space and actually want it back. Not just pass and admire his pass.

Can receive the ball in tight areas, take it on the move, and has no shortage of skill.
Is also a good finisher.

If he can go for a few months injury free, i think Poch will utilise him quite a bit.

Very impressed. He was never going to be a match-winner today but gave an extremely good account of what he's capable of. I'd happily see him start in a similar role against Southampton.

Wilshere got booked kicking him-best compliment you can make.
Selection problems in midfield now.
What's this Ceballos fella like?

He just has that extra urgency on the ball that I feel we have been missing, always looking to do something.

he has the positive mentality that could take him and probably the team to somewhere.. he is never stagnant in his positionings.. he seldom moved in a constant pace, cos he is always deciding his next move so spontaneously.. really a bright player, and we don't even need 2 full matches to see the difference he has brought to the team cos he shone so brightly to distinguish himself from the norms..

well done Mason

Another player clearly ready to make the step up, at 23 why has his chance not come before? We have invested a lot in our academy and its producing good technical players but it seems over the past few years they just haven't been given the opportunity in the first team.

Has been injured... a lot.

Out on loan, good start to loan, loan club fans like what they see... Injured. Comes back, on the bench for a while, gets back into team after decent sub performances... Injured. New manager comes in, sent back to Spurs.

Rinse and repeat.

Little niggly injuries at bad times for him have just held him back, without injury would already have been a regular by now IMO.

He should definitely be ahead of Dembele and Paulinho. He might be the missing link to attack. The other two just seem to slow the pace down and pass everywhere except towards goal.

Agreed. Dembele can still contribute, but it's rather apparent at this point Poch can't seem to find a place for Paulinho, and justifiably so. Hope to see Paulinho go in January to make some cash back to make a few more other additions of need, namely at least a left winger and/or striker.

Partly the unwillingness of the manager(s), but as has been said a number of times... Mason is a bit of a unique case, someone the club have been very patient with because they know the talent he has. He's injury prone but also aged 18/19 he was still tiny, a good 3-4 inches less in height and the skinniest footballer you have seen. He eventually had a growth spurt and filled out a bit.

He's also gone from a 'second striker' to a No.10 to now a central midfielder, and so he's had to get used to the role as well as physically develop and get used to all that. The talent has never been in question.

Mason, Townsend, Bentaleb, Caulker, Carroll.

Whilst not world class players that is a very good turn out from our Younger setups, with what looks like more promising players coming through.

Something going right in the background anyway.

You get a big yellow badge for the academy fella. I'm surprised there haven't been questions from higher up the food chain as to why we haven't seen more of our home grown given a chance, especially when you think of what's been invested and how they've been smashing everyone in recent years.
When a 'pro' isn't performing and a younger player comes in and takes his place surely it must raise alarm bells.
Might just be the kick up the arse some of them need, if it doesn't then we know they aren't for us and we need to get shot of them...

The boys got talent and clearly deserves his place in the squad. I'm relieved that the kid we have been reading about and checking highlight clips of u21 games and lower league games has managed to take his chance. Would have been terrible to have lost him like a lot of other up and coming players.

The staff need to carefully manage him but he can be a brilliant player for us, he's shown this in the course if a week and I don't think there's anyone who would argue otherwise.
