That could be the issue. A castle in a different country.
Like I said in my post... "Slight concern" not a full on crazy yet.
Lol ha ha I'd done a martial arts testing last night so was a bit zoned out when typing!

Agree. Also think he got more help from Verts in the 2nd half, who provided more cover on that side 'cause they really didn't have much coming centrally against us. Seemed like a tactical shift 'cause Salah had more threatening one on ones with Aurier in the 1st half. Salah was basically their one threat the whole game, and we swamped Coutinho every time he got the ball. Dealt with them pretty easily in the end.Apart from the goal he handled Salah well today
He's not as fast as we'd been led to believe. Not that he's a slouch by any means, but he's not lightening, & nowhere near Walker's pace.
But yeah, he looks in the modern Marcello/Rose mould of FB...tenacious as hell, really fit, good technique. If he cuts out the odd headbanger moment - as Walker did over the years - we should be fine.
What? Two absolute stinking passes mared what I thought was a pretty decent game from him. Far from the level he showed at the Bernabeu, but I'm very intrigued as to how he'll look this time next season.
What?
He was a pub league footballer yesterday. Absolutely putrid. So far off Trippier. I'm not convinced he is better than Walker-Peters.
Clearly a good player in there and his base level is much higher than Rose and Walker's before they worked with Poch. Pretty confident Poch will improve his decision making which will make him a very good acquisition.I'd like to give him time. We've got a very good coaching team at Tottenham.
