Yeah if you look at his figures over the last four years its crazy he has made and lost something like 11 million dollars!
durrrr is so 2008, here is the new top dog Ben Sulskyaka sauce123
yesterday was a tough day...
Did you suffer a bad beat and go on tilt? You took some heavy losses between 6k and 8k hands
Like the idea of a few games. I am on Pokerstars. Not a bad beat, but was heads up against some dude today and he showed pocket aces 3 times in 4 hands.....
I want me some of that action.
Playing a home game tonight which should be good, but my online poker is a bit up and down to be honest. Play predominantly 6 man sit and go's and go through incredible periods of winning and then downswings of the same period.
Omar, what's the deal with affiliate?
I don't go on mad crazy monkey tilt anymore, been there, learned from mistakes etc
Just some super sick coolers I.e middle set on flop vs top set vs an agrotard. A few 200bb KK vs AA also vs this one reg he 5 bet jammed JTs vs my AK so obv he was tilted. The next 3 4 bet pots vs him were: my QQ vs his KK then my AK vs his KK and then finally my AKs vs his AA - for which he slow-rolled me when calling my jam. I lost every flip, 60/40, 70/30, even a few 80/20 also i missed every draw and my bluffs were getting called in spots where my perceived range was a lot stronger than villains
C'est la vie!
Wow and a slow roll, some people are just born arseholes.
You seem to have your finger on the pulse at the moment, what would you say is a good standard opening raise? It seems to have gone up from what it used to be. Also do you follow any rules when 3/4 betting? Or does it depend on instinct and your own hand strength? At the lower levels i'll fold to most 4 bets because they're so rare but I'm pretty sure I'm missing opportunities to take down pots. Cheers, I reckon you could become the SC official poker guru.
I think opening raise depends on the table and position. In my home game where people know my style of play and general range, I vary my opening raise a lot- as a small way of keeping people guessing. I've played in cash games and tournies where 3/4 BB opening raise is almost an autocall for some, therefore if you're really aiming to either get value, or push the rags out of the hand then a 4/5 BB opening is needed. This is also true in the cutoff/dealer positions, it gets little credit as it is often just a positision raise.
Conversely there are also games when a 3BB raise is seen as strength particularly if UTG and can often garner more 'respect' and implied strength than when in later position.
I'd be interested to find out people's views on the continuation bet. Personally, I nearly always make one, even if I've missed the flop completely - and value the Barry Greenstein line of thinking.
