Loved his spell at Spurs, was my favourite player at time. Always played with his whole heart and loved the club and fans to bits.
Don't. Just dont
Ah the days when we used to attack teams rather than playing 2 defensive mids at home - I miss them days too"And Harry [Redknapp] — he was like your dad. I would give everything for that man; I was really sad when he left. I think the England job would have been the best job for him and also for England."

Damn I miss those days. Fuck you AVB!

Don't forget King at the back. It was a truly great time to be a Spurs fan.
I never disliked AVB before. I reckoned Redknapp was his own worst enemy (tax, media mouth and England) and I could see what the plan was intended to be with a new young manager who would develop a long term vision. Unfortunately he was an utter arse, it seems. Now it appears to be what Poch has been brought in to do and I have hope in our youthful team for the future, but... what a team we had...
If Levy had twisted instead of stuck at the height of that period we could have won the league.
The best stadium in world football is the least he owes us.
I did and anyways always suspected he pushed VDV out.
Absoutly loved the guy. But his legs went towards the end of our time, and he couldn't manage 90 mins. He wouldn't survive 10 mins in Pochs system. We had a wonderful 2 years with him though.
It was his girlfriend who got a new job and wanted to move wasn't it??
Now he's split from her isn't he??
Lesson to be learned.

Sylvie Van der Vaart. It was his wife and I think she was suffering or recovering from a serious illness. She got a presenting job in Germany and as they were already having a tough time he decided that he'd go to Germany.
But as you quite rightly pointed out they are now divorced and he's with Khalid Boulahrouz's ex wife
