I have family up in Scotland. One of my cousins married a Rangers fan. He’s a nice enough bloke, I’ve always thought. Until the euros last summer. My god he was a pain on the WhatsApp group we have. I ended up telling him where to go when he said that Kane is overrated and he genuinely wouldn’t want him at Rangers.

Yes that's right but some cable companies outside the UK are also showing the Spurs friendly matches so if someone has a subscription to say Viaplay who I think broadcast the Korea games they wouldn't need to pay a subscription to Spursplay to watch the Rangers game , it so varies from country to country.

Doesn’t appear to be in TV here in the states so went in Spurs site to see how much to watch on Spurstv. It appears I can only watch it if I pay 45 pounds to subscribe to SpursPlay! Why would I do that to watch 1 preseason friendly. I can view all PL and Cup games here in my cable TV. Never ceases to amaze me how companies, especially ones that have a loyal fan/ customer base, are always doing everything they can to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Sad.

Maybe they should have a discount now - but given that the intend to provide content all season - I expect its still worth the price. And, like you, I have access to all the regular season and CL games already (and probably the Cup games also).

The content is pretty good. And, as far as I can see, they’ve just “added” stuff and not removed anything.

Good to see the academy teams play on occasion also, it should raise interest there which will be a good thing.

CBS sports/Paramount+ carried the Korea and Sevilla games. i have it for Champions and Europa

It's the world we are living in all round. The rich get richer and everyone else gets prince out...basic things like watching your club play football is a luxury.

It's a preseason friendly. If you don't want SpursPlay then just watch the highlights after. Or find another way to watch for free.

They aren’t asking you45 for one game. It’s for a year of content. The content is actually being well received by most. It’s up to you whether you want to watch what they are producing and whether it’s worth it, but don’t represent it as them asking you 45 for one preseason game.

nowhere did I say they were asking for 45 for one preseason friendly. What I said that in order to watch that one game I had to buy the yearly subscription, which costs 45, and I don’t want a yearly subscription just the ability to watch that one game.
