Alli and Winks let themselves down. They should have been playing with more energy and wanting the ball more. Winks needs a loan move asap. His confidence is gone.

Lamela was superb and it showed we started to run out of ideas after lamela went off.

I hate Mourinho, but he got us playing today and those goals were not his fault. I hope he keeps trying to play this way and work on the defenders, not kill the attack again. Will win a lot more games if we play with the intent we showed today.

Actually a good performance despite the score. I actually went with Sanchez as I thought he did well, lamela was good too.

Plus points - Toby, Doherty, Lucas, Kane, son

There is a reason why Dele and winks are not playing and we saw another example of that today.

Much better effort from the players, but individual mistakes cost us. Hoijberg (2), winks and lloris.

Just curious what did Doherty do to get a 6 I seen nothing positive from him but happy to be corrected... Also any off our defenders getting 6 or 7 letting in 5 and Everton had few other good opportunities to score seems crazy...

Sanchez at least scored 2 and the others were not terrible in my opinion. The mistakes came by the defensive mids and Hugo mostly.

That game will give Jose nightmares for the rest of the season.

I think its fairly obvious why he sets his team up so conservatively. He cannot trust that back line. Doesnt matter if Dier is in there, or different fullbacks. We don't have a defense capable of playing expansive attacking football. Look at their first goal. What the hell were they doing? It was utterly brain dead decision making, trying to pass it about. Lloris could probably have done better but you'd not expect him to be needed in that scenario. Wank defending.

Sigurdsson was given way too much space all game.

The penalty, well, I can understand why it was given but I think the common sense side of the rules has gone. Hojbjerg didn't even know the attacker was there.

Not sure what coach could get that piss poor defense sorted if Jose can't.

I picked Ndombele, we lost the game when he game off, too big a downgrade from our bench, thought Lucas Doherty, Lloris and Winks were awful. Was a strange game as we played quite well with some awful performances mixed in.

Lloris 5 barely made a save

Doherty 5 no impact going forwards and was he to blame for Bernard's goal?
Sanchez 6 only because he scored two, woeful defending
Toby 6 not sure what impact he had + or -
Davies 5 terrible going forwards and a RB at RW was beating him all game long

Hojbjerg 7 terrible mistakes but still one of our better players
Ndombele 8 liquid football at times, shame he had to go off

Lamela 8 great effort with some good forward play until he tired and took a crucial goal for us clinically
Lucas 6 showed some good dribbles but with no end product (as always)
Bergwijn 6 opposite of Lucas, could find a pass if needed but couldn't beat anyone when dribbling

Son 8 MOTM never seen such good delivery from corners for a Spurs player and so much energy

Kane 7 would have got a second on another day, great commitment in ET
Alli 4 couldn't do anything with the ball, so limited when on the right
Winks 4 yellow card, kept giving the ball away, his shot at the end of the game summed him up
Sissoko 7 offered more than Doherty going forward

Mourinho 8 great football, can't blame him for our shocking defenders, should have bought bale on the bench though.
