What we lack is a warrior defender like Chiellini who gets his head/body in front of everything no matter what. In the Chelsea Mourinho days John Terry was an example of this. Our defenders are nice footballers, Vertonghen in particular is very good, but none of them are warriors. We always concede chances (just like at home to Arsenal). That is the difference!

Big challenge now for Poch to lift himself and the team, Bournemouth away won't be easy, anything other than a win at Swansea and the vultures will circle. I have enormous faith in him but be prepared for "Spursy" to be repeated ad infinitum
The annoying thing is everybody and their dog knew what Juve’s plan was. Stay in the game and then strike at the first sign of weakness.
It was like they were a bully who told their prey what alley they’d be waiting down on the way to school, and we just strolled down there anyway with our lunch money jiggling in a our pockets.
Even so, I’m not sure what I’d have done differently. Maybe we could have come out 2nd half and dropped the centre backs deeper, maybe brought in Wanyama. But it’s not Poch’s way to take a backward step.
There’s still a clear progression from last year’s CL horror show. This year we earned respect around Europe. People will take us seriously now.
Tbh we won't get past the quarter-final or semi-final even if we defeated Juves
I know I am salty. But just let me to feel better.
Allegri is an expert in tactics. We really suffer to this type of manager every f**king time.
Eriksen and Son don't deserve the defeat today.

In brief, could we (Poch) have been more proactive in our approach circa 60mins to look to bring on a Wanyama and soak up an inevitable Juve onslaught to try and counter them ala Madrid?
Also, what on Earth was the rationale for switching Son from the left where he had so much joy over to the right?!
All if's and buts granted....
Should've known there'd be a way to blame Erik Lamela for our failure to win a football match.Lamela? he was the nearest person to the ball which bounced off from the post. he could have dived in or stretched his right foot to bury it, instead, he shifted his body to accommodate to use his left foot that cost our golden chance to equalise.
Similar situation happened in the Southampton away game..please tell me why he should be ahead of Dele or Son

It was a classic Italian mugging. A quick change of tactics, a sustained period of fouling that broke both our rhythm and concentration, and then they started to keep the ball and move it around in a way they didn't do at all in the first 45 minutes. We really didn't know how to react or stop it from happening. In ten minutes the game was lost.
At half time, Allegri had no choice but to change his tactics, whereas Poch was stuck between a rock and a hard place. If I were being ultra critical, he should have realised that Allegri was going to attack at some point and done something to offer our defence greater protection.
