Put Toby but forgot Hugo. No one else worth a mention in the positive sense.

Second best by any positive metric you care to name.
Remind me which was the team vying for top four?
Lloris.............. 7+...........Kept it respectable. One ludicrous punch when he should have caught the ball.
Son .................6..............Well taken goal. kept trying.
Dele.................6..............Good assist. Some signs of movement and touch.
Kane ...............5..............Nice goal but ruled out.
Toby................5...............Resembles a footballer in some ways.
Reguilon........4...............Too often out of position.
Aurier............. 4...............Bit hit and miss.
Hojbjerg.........4...............Not quite the player he was or the one what we thought he was.
Lo Celso.........4...............Got into the game eventually
Bale..................2..............Who?
Dier..................2..............Sloppy and went missing when it mattered.

Subs little impact..
Ryan....Don't give up the day job .....oh wait.

For once I watched the whole game but I still cannot put up my own ratings as I was about 30 feet from the screen so I would get up at times but it meant disrupting the games of pool going on by the screen.
So I have appropriated 2 off site ratings (probably similar to you lot)

Lloris 8
Aurier 4.5 (I know but one site gave him 5......)
Toby 6 (lower than here but both sites gave him a 6)
Dier 3.5 (I know one site actually gave him a 4.......lol)
Reg 4
Hojberg 5
Lo Celso 6 (I know the agendaists wont like it but both sites gave 6)
Bale 4
Dele 7
Son 6.5
Kane 5.5

Must add a note............
the sole Spurs fan was shouting at the screen at Aurier whole game BUT the 2 sites I read said he had been left exposed by the Bale fellow.
What does SC think?

Lloris 8

Aurier 4 lazy in closing down. Two goals came from his side of the pitch.
Dier 3 why is he still in the team. Even sanchez would be better (he usually plays OK with Toby).
Toby 5 no longer a calming consistent defender.
Reguilon 4 confidence has ebbed away to the point where davies is a more appealing option

Peh 6 tried hard
Glc 5 not a cm in the current system, needs to play in a 3 man midfield.

Dele 6 when he got the ball in dangerous areas he made things happen

Bale 3 was he playing?
Son 5 scored. Not himself
Kane 5 scored. Not himself

.....just to stir up the anti Jose club

We’d have beaten Leeds today with Jose at the wheel

Stick that in your pipes...
No way of knowing that unless you have some kind of parallel universe machine that allowed you to assert this with the confidence you appear to have.

Lloris - 8 - A few really good saves and decent feet.
Aurier - 5 - Rarely got forward, not helped at all by Bale, but his opponent had the beating of him all day.
Toby - 7 - Played ok.
Dier - 4 - How can he leave the ball for their first goal? And played them onside for their 3rd by dropping off on his own. No defensive IQ at all.
Reguilon - 5 - Very poor defensively, nothing going forwards.
Højbjerg - 5 - More like Steffen Freund since February. Cannot believe he is the same player as the one last Autumn.
Lo Celso - 5 - Carried the ball well at times, but passing was awful.
Dele - 7 - Probably our best outfield player first half. Disappeared second half.
Son - 7 - Good goal, could have done better with other chances. Did not help out Reguilon enough first half.
Bale - 4 - Pretty poor. Did not tackle, track back defensively, or shoot or create offensively.
Kane - 5 - One of his worst games. Looks unfit and generally uninterested. Lost all of his duels.

Lamela - 6 - Meh
Moura- 6.5 - For looking like he actually cared more than anything.
Ndombele - 6 - Meh

Mason - 6 - Too slow to change things when it was obvious Leeds were overloading us on the flanks. He has inherited a squad that is not fit enough an it shows on the pitch. Not his fault that though.

We do not deserve CL football. The payers need to be properly beasted in pre-season by an alpha male that they respect. Next manager choice so important.

Lloris. Toby was good too, but boy that was shit.
Lloris was easily our best. I must have watched a different game, Toby on a number of occasions was half a yard away from blocking a pull but, including for bamfords goal. The reason he was half a yard off was because his first thought was to tuck his arms behind his back, not get a block in.
Rewatch the goal. As it's pulled back, instead of going forward towards the 'coridoor of uncertainty' he pulls his arms behind his back and bamford steps forward being him.

I have been one of Toby's biggest fans, but he needs to concentrate on blocking shots and crosses before worrying about getting his arms behind his back

A rainy morning in Yorkshire against a Hyperfueled Leeds was too much for us. Leeds intensity, especially in the first half, blew us away.
Mason was naive in having both full backs pushed up high which along with Bale and Son rarely tracking back gave Leeds a field day down the flanks. Considering that Leeds are the only team alongside Man City who consistently play with their wide men high and wide it was a bad call by Mason.
Thought Dele was our best forward player till he went off. I’d have taken Lo Celso off instead and brought on NDombele.
The second goal shows why Dier can never be considered as a top defender. He’s always waiting instead of being decisive and proactive. Waiting for the goalkeeper or another defender to clear the ball or as for this goal waiting for the ball to come to him instead of going to the ball to clear it and of course as he waited Bamford nipped in for an easy goal. Nice guy but simply not good enough.
The third goal was embarrassing. I know we are pressing for a goal but two, three passes after we lose the ball on the edge of their penalty area and there is still only one defender in our half!!
It was a long shot to get CL and now I feel it would be better if we had no European football next season and instead had the whole week to concentrate on the PL games. It worked for Both Chelsea, under Conte, and Leicester.

After the Sheffield United game I was worried this would happen. Leeds bring a level of intensity most teams struggle with. Our mix of tired, soft and weak players were always going to be shown up by Leeds relentlessness.
Only positive was Lloris and dele (when he was on the ball in attack). Toby was ok.

Kane is worrying me. I hope he’s just managing his fitness through until the end of the season. But I’m not sure. His spark has gone at the moment.

Reguilon is being shown up. He’s absolutely a wingback. Sessegnon could easily end up first choice next season. As could Skipp.

Dier is yet again showing that he isn’t cut out for the top level. He doesn’t act like a defender. At fault for at least two of the goals today.

Lamela also shows his limitations. Runs around a bit (which pleases some). Then fails to deliver the right pass at the right time. His rabona pass into touch sums him up. Got to go as well if we want to improve.

To be honest you could say the same of a lot of our players.
Everyone flattered to deceive. It was another good game for those who didn’t get selected.

And as for the disallowed goal, well. Add that to the var compilation dvd.

This season can’t end soon enough

special shout out to Ndombele who actually looked knackered whilst jogging on to the pitch as an 80th minute sub,

Lloris by a mile — forget CL NOWbut lets at least try and have a Thursday game next season....
definitely question marks over fitness levels for most of the squad as well.....
