I also noted that after we got the 4th we looked to kill the game, as Conte has said he prefers to do.

Our passing in the last 15 was much sharper than Leeds' was. Considering we finished stongly against Liverpool and Bournemouth too, I'm gonna make a prediction and say we will have more in the tank in the second half of the season.

If we can fix the defensive issues, I expect to see us kill more teams in the first half as well.

I agree it can be a way to express but it shouldn't come out anytime because we are losing or not playing well.

When we lost to United 3-0 was the correct time to show dissatisfaction and anger because it was months of incompetence resulting on the pitch
Agree- not acceptable at non appropriate times, Although who to be the judge of that.

For me, Football is a high emotional charged sport like no other but has probobly the worse officals taking charge. Supporters react and can often feel fustrated by decisions which doesn't help the atmosphere. Opposing teams know how to professionally get at us and stifle our game which translates to the crowd as a poor performance.

What will be interesting is how Conte handles the Royal situation, because one things for sure the idiots who were booing him won’t think twice about doing it again. Emerson isn’t suddenly going to become a world beater by Boxing Day.

The people booing him and jeering Dier against Liverpool are basically deciding that they know better than the manager, it’s a fucking weird mindset.
They aren't real fans. They are just idiots. To many in the modern age seems to have lost the idea of supporting the club through thick and thin. They are good time supporters only.

An incredible match to be at and I am glad I was there! We actually didn't play badly at all in my view. Leeds were absolutely clinical with their chances. Every one of their goals was struck at the right moment for them and the wrong one for us. First goal, Dier was an ace away from blocking Summerville but he struck it early, second goal Rodrigo hit on the volley, no chance for the defender to get set, and the third, he took one touch and then Bang! No chance for Sanchez to intervene. For our part we played some lovely football, particularly the move for the chance Royal put over the bar. Kulusevski was unplayable and it felt inevitable that he would eventually get at least one assist. He had the measure of the Leeds left flank from start to finish. I actually cannot believe how many people left as soon as Leeds scored their third goal. It's not as if it was the 89th minute or something. There were 15 minutes of regulation time left plus stoppage time to add as well and we still looked like we had more goals in us because Leeds defence is not great. Oh well, it allowed me and my brothers to be together for the last part of the match whereas we were all in different rows as that was all I could purchase at the time. It was so nice to shut the Leeds fans up. They were jumping around singing "Let's go fucking mental" at 3-2 up and less than nine minutes later we were the ones jumping around with glee and they were silent. Then they had a player sent off and from my seat in the fifth tier above the Leeds fans I saw a guy just pull his jumper completely over his head in pure frustration. Football. Bloody Hell! This was a game we just needed to win, by hook or by crook and win we did so I am delighted. It gives us a good foundation for the resumption of the league after the World Cup. I have never been to any game where we were behind three times and won the game. Does anyone on here know when that last happened?

I think this might have happened when we beat reading 6-4 at home years ago. Back in the glory days of berbatov.

Hmm I wonder who :p
In case if anyone is still in doubt. I am watching Conte Cam and he is creaming "up, up, up" as soon as Hojbjerg heads the ball up. haha

Dier really does seem to be a player who can only focus on the ball or the man.

Watched the full game yesterday. Played well on the whole but defence is all over the place.
Not sure constant changes are helping that.
However we didn't sit back and went at them from the start. Their first goal was against the run of play imo.
Not sure what Marsch was on about, 'felt they had control and deserved the win.'
Leeds had less possesion, less shots, less shots on target, less corners and conceded 4 goals! Thats not being in control.

Just watched the game replay. I thought Sanchez looked decent in the last 20 mins after he came on. Was actually meaningfully contributing to our attacks with forward runs and nice incisive passing. It’s so important for our system that whomever is playing LCB and RCB get forward and add numbers to midfield or even attack.
It made a huge difference, Dier moved back into the middle and the whole defence was more solid.
