I blame Mourhino for this loss.

Most of what some of you predicted in the match thread, based on his team selection and formation, has come to pass. You could see that it would be futile, why couldn't Mourinho?

Doherty at left back LOL.
A back 3 but no Toby LOL
Lamela on for Kane LOL (Vinitius and Lucas on bench).
Aurier off so he puts Doherty to mark Mane LOL (could have brought on Sissoko to mark him if Aurier was injured)

In the end I rate the overall performance based on Mourhino's selection and tactics as embarrassing

Hojbjerg my MOTM.

PEH MOTM and possibly our most important player, we need him to stay healthy so we can challenge in the cup fixture. We're not finishing top 4, so the EL, FA Cup and CC should be our focus. 8.5/10

Stevie had some good moments but still lacking that confidence. 6.5/10

Our defence was abysmal and are mentally fragile. Collectively a 2/10 for keeping it under 5 goals.

The subs by Jose were poor. Lamela and Winks added nothing to the game. 3/10

Dr. Tottenham for doing what he does best. 11/10

Awful

Cowardly

All shit bar ndombele who did OK.

Notable shittness... Doherty, oh my word he is awful. Not even to do with confidence, I don't think a five yard pass requires confidence.

Hojbjerg MOM.

Ndombele (mainly first half) and Rodon (other than the mistake) good.

Everyone else = double portion of ?

PEH was the only player worth mentioning. Kane struggled with his ankles and Son disappeared as soon as his goal was disallowed. Pretty poor across the whole pitch really.

Harsh, but I never want to see Docherty or Lamela in a Spurs shirt again. Both very poor. Ndombele was a little off his game tonight with a number of wayward passes, but he worked his socks off and put in a shift. PEH my MOTM by a mile.

Lloris was at fault for most of the goals.

Dier was a disgrace.

Doherty is the worst signing we’ve made for a long long time.

Hojbjerg played well and showed heart.

Ndombele was very good in the 1st half but quiet in the 2nd.

Defensively we were a disgrace whereas offensively we created nothing barring Hojbjerg’s screamer.

All Mourinho fault. 5 defenders plus Hojberg. I don't care if it worked against Sheffield United, most teams tactics have worked against Sheffield United.

4 attackers on the pitch and nobody to link defence to attack. I don't get it. But let's be honest, was anyone surprised with Jose playing this way? I think not. We genuinely have been the poorer team offensively in most games and it's killing our attacking rhythm.

Hojbjerg, Ndombele 7
Bergwin 6 , good first half.
The rest BIG FAT ZERO!

This is a match footballers dream to play. The occsional. The chance. And none of them turn up barring the 3 mentioned! Cowards!

How many LOOSE balls Dier Doherty and Davis has created constantly throughout the whole match? Dier loose ball straight to Liverpool sprung the attack that gave them their second goal right after the break too.

Absolutely one of the worst performances physically and mentally i seen from the team.

I think it was Dan KP who said today Jose wants a big, van dijk type, monster CB sooner rather than later. Ultimately until that happens these are just nothing seasons, void.

We can't achieve what we want to with the group of Centre halves we have.
