Why bother? We do not deserve European football. We do not deserve Kane. We have no entitlement besides being fodder for struggling teams.

Considering we were on top of the table for a month earlier this season, I am so embarrassed and deflated where Spurs are concerned.

I would concede the Carabao Cup to Man City now to spare us future embarrassment.

Mourinho, you are just a washed up, opiniated and clueless windbag being out managed by the likes of Steve Bruce. I will leave that here for you Mr Levy, you bought into the hype

I am done

Kane, Tanguy and Rodon did ok, the rest went through the motions with a car crash from Sanchez- played like a pub footballer

A disjointed, uninspired load of pap.

Apart from that, it was fine....

Positives, Kane motm. Rodon did well. Its sunny.

Was always going to be this way. Newcastle facing the relegation zone. Fighting for survival. Spurs were the perfect tonic. Awful mentality, really.

Horror show from Sanchez and Reguilon and poor from Tanganga too unfortunately.

Lucas and Son both below level they had been playing at or should be at.

Kane & Lloris the best of a bad bunch.

A top, modern and progressive coach would not be putting out a side this shambolic, disorganized and lacking in confidence. In April. Against Newcastle, one of the worst sides in the league.

Rodon and Sanchez are a fucking shambolic partnership... Christ almighty
As widely predicted.
They both need an experienced wet-nurse
at the moment.
Especially Sanchez.

Ordinary....................... Most of them
Stand out ordinary....The rest.
Anyone know a paint drying web site for the rest of the season?

Before giving out any ratings
Can I remind you all that Newcastle are probably the shittiest team you could possibly play in this league,
So mark according.... keep it real.

Kane, two goals against Newcastle should be enough bar being complete dogshit elsewhere. Others played well in spats but nothing consistent.

Lloris 7 - up a point because of the excellent double save early on that really should have been a goal. Still doesn't command his defence and should be stepping up as the leader since we stupidly let Jan leave who was the only real leader we had in defence.

Tanganga 5 - tried hard but is not a right back. Jose ruining the kids career trying to convert him because he thinks he's too short to be a central defender which is nonsense as proved by his leap for the header that was cleared off the line where he jumped a foot higher than anyone else to get on the end of the ball.

Sanchez 2 - horror show. Desperately needs someone next to him talking him through the game. He really suffers from not having Jan next to him.

Rodon 6 - thought he did as well as could be expected when he was surrounded by others having a nightmare game.

Reguilon 4 - Effort was there but either not fit enough or just had an absolute nightmare. Usual quality going forward wasn't there and got skinned almost everytime they came down that flank.

Hojbjerg 6 - did OK. Solid.

Ndombele 6 - great going forward, nice assist. Still think he's more effective for us playing at the tip of a midfield 3, he's wasted doing the donkey work though.

Lucas 5 - tried but was moved out of his best/most effective position.

Lo Celso 6 - worked hard.

Vinicius 5 - Darren Bent like without the threat of getting in behind.

Kane 9 - Harry Kane FC, without him it would have been a bad loss.

Son 4 - poor, as he was before his injury. Offered little in terms of quality on the ball.

Lamela 6 - typical Lamela performance. Great tenacity, but wants too much time on the ball.

Bale N/A - not enough time.

Jose 1 - lost the plot. No motivation to his players. Then throws a bunch of them under the bus after the game for his own negative selections and tactics. Please leave.

Sanchez and Reggie weak today. We changed to a 4-2-3-1 in the second half and that changed the game by far

Been on the fence re Mourinho....but today I came off it . Didn't matter whether we won or lost...the 4th place gained from a lucky win would soon have been given up as this disorganised mess stands little chance vs a top ten team . Big defeats to come this month will surely sink Mourinho .

Not rating anyone. This was a full effort of shit from all involved including management team.

Our CBs go up against too many untracked runners which is causing them to lose shape far too easily. For me there is a big hole in our midfield that doesn't shield our defence. For as good Hojberg has been, I think his role needs to be a pure Makalele approach to give our defenders cover. Hojberg gets too involved which means when the full backs or wing backs or whatever they are push up, it leaves us exposed.

I genuinely think nobody played well. Kane was the best of a bad performance but even he tried to over run with the ball. We just lack any kind of cohesion at the moment. This has to be fixed on the training ground. Newcastle were comfortable in possession most of the game. That's us making them and most other teams feel superior.

It's just very frustrating at the moment.

A very unMourinho performance, - committing men forward leaving the defense one on one on many occasions - but a very typical Tottenham performance - throwing away the chance to go 4th against a relegation threatened team on a bad run; how many times have we seen this over the years.
Of course for many it’s the managers fault but for me this is simply on the players who simply don’t have the necessary mindset to be successful. Once again leading at half time and we fail to come out in the second half, raise our intensity, control the game and put it to bed with another goal. It’s not a case of sitting back and defending our lead it’s simply a case of a lack of determination to make sure we take all three points.
Defensively today we were disastrous. Both goals were defensive horror shows. The first two hopeless attempts at clearance hit Newcastle players leaving the whole defense out of position. The second was a catalog of errors. A failure to stop the cross, a failure to stop the header back at the back post and then the 2 CBs getting each other’s way to leave Wilcock fee at the back post- who else thought he’d (Arsenal)score when he came on.
One final point. Love him or hate him but Lamela inability to know when to release the ball proved costly today. Twice he had the opportunity to put someone through on goal but didn’t release the ball on time. First NDombele free to his left and then just before they equalized he had Son free to his right in on goal but held on to the ball too long and eventually passed to Kane to his left in a much worse position.
Another frustrating Tottenham performance. They just never fulfil their potential.

Any stats out there on whether Sanchez completed a forward pass all game?

17 passes that were made in or reached the final third with an accuracy of 29.4%. In other words 5 successful of those 17.
