Russian official shoots attempted robber dead in Rio

The 60-year-old was driving with his wife and daughter on Avenue of the Americas when two motorcyclist surrounded them in traffic, Brazilian newspaper Globo reports.

One suspect broke the driver's window with a gun, according to the Homicide Division of the Capital.

The Russian official, who is trained in jiu-jitsu, grabbed the gun and shot the attacker.

The Italian beach volleyball team has a guy who does a "sky ball" serve....

He literally hits the ball as far up in the air as he can (one i saw was at least 15 meters up) and just hopes it comes down in the court.....the Austrian team has no answer for it.
