Facts.
The FA cup is riddled with upsets.
We are desparately chasing a trophy.
Sheffield United will be a PL side next year.
We should have played the strongest side from the off.
(Ok the last point is opinion).

And who do you think is the reason we still have the likes of Sanchez to call upon eh?

The squad depth is poor because of Levy's interference.

There is fuck all winning mentality that filters down from the board down and it's shown season after season after season.

1 poxy League Cup in 22 years!!!!!!!!

I'm sure Conte changed his mind on Sanchez (and Emerson) from wanting them moved on to giving them another chance.

It gets to me because I sat there the other day with a Man U supporting friend and watched them win the League Cup and, despite United being bang average, it just seemed so fucking easy. Yep, tick that one off. Been there, got the t-shirt. I just thought, fuck surely we can do that with the FA Cup or something this year. C'mon, fucking once in my life a major trophy, I have zero love for Conte Ball but he's a winner and we can get a trophy.

But no, ****s got me again.

Conte has actually only won 1 cup, the FA Cup with Chelsea (and that needed a penalty in the final in a 1-0 win with 4 shots total that game). Great in the leagues, but that hasn't transferred to the cups, even with Juve.

Maybe a bit. Still bottled a lot of big games though. I'll admit, we were getting to big games, which is a dramatic improvement on the years since however.
True. We did still fall at the final hurdle but we did have a mentality where we kept going until the final whistle.

Just once I’d like a manager to take the fa cup seriously! And not sack it off like it’s beneath us! We’ve won FUCK ALL for years! Conte has to go after this, im
Sorry!
I think it’s been quite obvious this season that we were taking the FA Cup seriously. That’s what is so worrying.

That was really poor.

Sheffield Utd were not that good - well organises but limited - but at no point did our multi millionaire, international, Premier League “stars” cause them any trouble.

At best, Lucas caused them a second thought in the middle third until it petered out but that was about.

Several players looked off the pace, Sanchez in particular was poor but why the hell he is in a position to have the most touches of the ball than anyone else I do not know.

The formation, for about the 29th time this season, does not work for us, we have nothing in central midfield because they are outnumbered and overworked, the attack is disjointed, and we lack even the slightest game intelligence to realise that when Forster has a free kick outside our box, with 4 minutes to go and we are losing, that at least one of our players might want to anticipate a second ball. Not a flick on specifically, not a lay off, just any fucking 2nd ball.

Kane was the only one challenging for the high ball and there were six Utd players before you got to a Spurs player, who was predictably stationery.

Sod this season, the highs are swamped in collages of lows and grey nothingness.

Viva la summer revolution, new manager, new formation, new tactics, new owner, new Director of Football, and worlds biggest soft play under the north stand

The club is not in the slightest bit interested in winning a trophy.

The only objective is scrambling over the Top 4 line to get the champions league money, which will never ever be invested in sufficient quantity and with sufficient care to actually win something.

We are a club that couldn’t give two shits about winning anything
Arsenal mkII from all them years ago when they were mocked for just finishing in the top four.
At least they backed it up with a couple of domestic cups in that period.

Yep, Man Utd made 8 changes v West Ham's 1st team and came from behind to win.

This is on the management IMO, it's on them to mentally prepare the players and the subs we did make, nothing until the 65th min and Son and Perisic staying on but taking off Porro was just madness. They were setting themselves up for failure.
If you're a player and your manager keeps moaning publicly about the team's mentality, and how he's not been able to replace you, but he keeps *picking you* and picking the same system he thinks you can't work in...how is that meant to ever work? It's baffling to me.

Sheffield had been allowed to get the upper hand before the substitutions were made. The changes were too late.

The problem was after the goal Sheffield United didn't just drop deep and play defence vs attack. They were able to stop us getting any waves of attacks going by having possession themselves.

Genuinely one of the most disgraceful performances I’ve seen. Agsinst a championship second team.
Kane needs to leave this shower of fucking shit
He'd be crazy if he doesn't want to go somewhere and win a trophy before the end of his career. He surely must have realised that he's not going to win anything at Spurs, whoever is in charge.

Well technically we bottled all the biggest games because we didn’t win a single thing. To be honest at the time I felt like if we can’t win anything with a team that’ll probably be the best team I’ll ever see us have then I’ll give up caring. I should have stuck to that.

I really got angry when he took off Porro who was at least trying in order to end up playing 2 players out of position (Kulu/Danjuma)

I mean who dreams up this shit.

It’s pointless blaming Conte for this. This is the history of Spurs. Every manager we’ve had since the mid 90s have had embarrassing cup exits. Even the great Poch and Redknapp have had embarrassing results. We are just an embarrassing team. The managers will continue to move on but the fans will stay and still have to put up with this crap.
He has had 3 in less than a year
