I wouldn't have complained had we appointed Koeman to replace Sherwood in the first place even though he wasn't touted for the poisition - but purely based on his amazing career as a player and manager at the highest club and national level

He looks to have had an excellent start to his managerial career in Holland and now with Southampton and certainly built on what Southampton already had and made excellent signings with the money they brought in

I think he has a bright managerial future

But it's pretty stupid to be making threads like this and discussing replacing our new manager after 8 games - he's not had a chance to show what he can do yet and people are already considering replacing him? words fail me

Laudrup had a great first season at Swansea with a good squad he inherited. Let's judge him at the end of the season or end of next season. Clubs that have a good structure tend to continue with similar players coming through. We should copy that rather than continually change managers. Pochy has stated he wants to bring through youth. Let's give him the chance. It worked at Southampton and Koeman is reaping the benefit.

I've not been specifically negging you - I think a few people might have got some neutral ratings (Disagree, WTF and Doh's) from me the last couple of days though same as I have from plenty recently, not to be a surprise after a defeat like yesterday. Nothing personal to you.

I wouldn't have complained if we'd appointed Ronald MacDonald to replace Sherwood.

I don't rate Koeman that highly, been very hit and miss throughout his managerial career. No doubt he has started well at Southampton though.
