You lack the information here pal, you're talking shit.

Obviously you're Berbatov's boyfriends or something so maybe you ought to tell him to start earning the money we are all paying to him because no-one will gamble £25m on a moody gobshite.

There is no need to pay so much for him, he didn't sign extension to his contract. :) For another thing, given that you think he's worth 25m, it must be true :). Even when he's not in form or mood, he seems to be the best provider of goals at that club. :hump:

Well we see it on sunday

That, according to the paper, is when Berbs will wake up and think 'Oh yeah, I'm supposed to make a decision on my future today, shall I flip a coin?'. Lets face it, he already has made his mind up one way or the other.

They said a meeting / more will become clear in 5 days, so Tues / Weds will be the meeting I'm guessing.

Well from what I've seen recently, far from the popular misconception of Berbs being off form, useless, lackadaisical etc, he has actually contributed four assists in the last 4 games (from memory) - that is totally acceptable from a striker.

Berbs has done well recently, whether he goes or stays I don't know. That's a different matter, but as long as we get £30 mil I'm happy.

Yeah acceptable, nothing special though. I guess he set high standards for himself that he might not be able to maintain. Certainly he has missed a few chances that surprised me.

Fair comment. The point is a lot of people are talking about Berbs like he's been terrible, uniniterested, etc. This is simply not the case.

Sorry, slightly OT.

Did anyone see the top 50 CL goals last night on ITV2 (or maybe ITV4).

Their number 1 was a Bergkamp goal that was uncannily like one of Berbs goals last season where he hit it on the volley from a cross, near the edge of the area, ball slightly behind him, and utterly leathered it into the net...

My memory is rubbish, but against Prague maybe?

That's your problem mate, maybe you lack information. :)

Sorry Carlos, didn't recognise you under that guise. :?

Well from someone that read every single article that The Times did dare produce on the Tevez saga - which was easily a couple of pages daily for a number of months, I'd say I'm relatively clued up. And what I also would say is that I did not read one peep out of him. At any stage.

So despite your link to Berbatov, which I cruelly suspect is the same as mine to Paul Robinson - in that I share his nationality - I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you do have some link. So thanks for the info (if there ever is/was any) but don't accuse me of lacking knowledge on that subject because that would be plain foolish.

Juande Ramos Persuades Berbatov to Stay in Tottenham
ramos.jpg

New chief- couch of Tottenham Juande Ramos intends to have a honest conversation with Bulgarian striker of the team Dimitar Berbatov.

Exactly the problems of Berbo with former manager Martin Jol are considered to be precondition for Dutchman's release.

Bulgarian goal- master was involved into great scandal after leaving reserve in the match against New Castle a week ago and the basicly worse play of the team from the start of the new season.

That became reason for Berbatov to want to leave ‘White Heart Lane' as longing for his signature are some of the largest clubs in UK, starting with Manchester United.

Juande Ramos, though, is firmly decisive to convince Berbatov to stay in Tottenham and sign new contract. The Bulgarian still postpones such agreement because the team's future is unclear.

Ramos is sure: ‘Berbatov is a great player and I know how to get the best of him'

berbatov at spurs is kind of like when you're seeing a bird who's way fitter than you deserve. you enjoy poking her and knowing she's fitter than all your mates' birds, but you just know that soon she's going to fuck off and drop her knickers for someone better looking than you. with a bigger cock.

I've always wondered if this was the reason that we signed Bent for so much money, did Levy and Comolli already know that Berbs would be off in january or the end of season at the latest.
