Your memory is rubbish...number 1 was Zidane's volley for Real in the final against Leveurkesen (sp?)...?

lmao!! yes it was Zidane, not Bergkamp, but the goal was similar to Berbs

I did say my memory was rubbish. Too many Columbian Woodbines

I've always wondered if this was the reason that we signed Bent for so much money, did Levy and Comolli already know that Berbs would be off in january or the end of season at the latest.

Im certain that was the case mate.

Leaving aside the attitude problems he's had, I think if we're all honest we'd hate to see him go. He's the sort of player who we need to progress that little bit easier. It's exactly like Carrick. He was the player who stood out with that flair that we didn't have alot of and when he went there was a noticable hole. Considering Zokora was his replacement, we still miss him...

Quite simply if he no longer wants to play for the club then he can Fuck off afterall no one is bigger then the club themselves, his attiude stinks and if he think a club like Manchester United would ever touch him even with a barge pole then his sadly mistaken the dozy fucker.

His no longer going to be in my dream team what a let down, i'm acctually quite livid.

To be honest, Berbatov is similiar to Kanoute in many ways and should prosper tremendously under him. I would see how their relationship goes before even worrying about him leaving. Then again, for all the prostrating, most of the people here are no better than the Sun when it comes to dry-humping a goddamn rumor until every body part is chaffed and red. Give it a rest for 10 minutes will you.

berbatov at spurs is kind of like when you're seeing a bird who's way fitter than you deserve. you enjoy poking her and knowing she's fitter than all your mates' birds, but you just know that soon she's going to fuck off and drop her knickers for someone better looking than you. with a bigger cock.

This is the best post ever.

I expected better of Berba. Without doubt the most exciting player to grace WHL for many a year on last season's evidence but this year he just seems to be in a massive sulk. I hope that Ramos does sort him out and things improve otherwise he will have to be on his way and that really saddens me. It is also a reflection of how much we were buzzing as a club in the last two years and how low we are at the moment. We badly need a premiership win or two to perk everyone up, but we need Berba to be at the fore of any revival.

Perhaps Berbati could translate that stuff from the website, because it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Speaking of 'THAT' goal by Zidane....was'nt Berby actually playing for Leverkusen in that actual game? Maybe we are getting a better idea of where Berby get's his ideas? COYS!

Berbatov is one of our best players based on what he did last season and there will always be rumours about top players leaving to join a bigger club. He hasn't been good this season but apart from keane and bale who has? I think some of the people suggesting we should sell him are just making sure they aren't too upset if he does leave.

I'll hold my hands up to very probably being in that group.

his agent told a local radio that there is interest toward him from 3 very serious clubs but he doesn't want to comment further + berbatov doesn't want a move now. on the tabloid bs that berba was the reason for sacking jol he said that ... it is pure bs and that the matter was way deeper.

Just posted this on COYS, it felt a bit like a revelation to me at the time, but I don't know . Just trying to understand him, and his 'demeanor'.

Just a thought, but maybe we are reading it wrong. Maybe he is just fed up of all the attention he's getting, for the wrong reasons. The fact that we think he might not care about our club, but inside he really does care, it just doesn't outwardly show like it does with other players. IIRC it was stated a few times that he was a fairly shy, sensitive type. If he senses that the fans are starting to lose faith in him, maybe that is affecting his scoring form.

Has no-one here never been in a job that really, is above what YOU think you are capable of, and when you start worrying that 'I might get found out that I can't really do this job as well as my bosses think', you make mistakes, you become demotivated. I'm not saying that Berbs isn't good enough, but he's alluded to the fact in interviews that he couldn't believe we'd pay almost 11 million quid for him, and that he doesnt think he deserves all the plaudits he gets. That's why we all had the view of him as a humble man.

It wouldn't be the first time a 'celebrity' has wanted to get out of the UK because they simply can't hack the press.

Not saying any of this is right, just throwing it out there, trying to get inside his head.

I've read your post three times to ascertain why I'm not comfortable with this opinion.

1. how does his attititude come in to question? He's not expressed a verbal opinon first hand and he does his talking on the park - four assists in recent matches.

2. his perceived value to just about any Champions league qualifying club is not in question - if he is purported by our club to be available, he will be gone and a significant profit on our original investment would be had.

i think we have got our own Anelka, so very talented but has got his head well and truely stuck up his own ass. Lets hope if he does go jaunde does a wenger and gets a huge amount of money and buys a nobody who he turns into a world class player like henry.

I am sorry if it sounds like im biggin up the filth, i feel disgusted!

So wrong we need to keep Berba, like we needed to keep Carrick, the objective is to build a winning team not a feeder for manure. If we cannot hang on to our classier acts then we will never be top 4 material.

I reckon it all depends on what happens up the window, but saying that, I reckon we can seriously do well in that time.

barcelonatov, if we dont realise our footy potential before the window.

i would be very sad to see him leave, but if it meant defoe signed a new contract and formed a fearsome partnership with bent it wouldnt be all bad

I truley belive if Berbs want's out in times like these, no one will touch him. Nobody like a fancy pants who's in it for the money and when times are bad they wine and complain.
