I'd like Berbs to stay but if he goes then he goes. No one player is bigger than the club.

Berbatov has become the new Mido, and hasn't had to put on an ounce of weight to do it! Genius!

As someone said earlier in this post Surely Bent was bought to replace Berbs and to make the club a tidy profit.

How can we afford to buy a third/fourth striker for 16.5 million, especially when we know our current buying policy is done for as much financial as business reasons?

When has Berbatov ever played any differently? It's just his style. He's always been very very casual.

The berbs i've seen this season is a pale imitation of last season. His movement off the ball is a million miles away from last year.
From the first second of this season you could see he doesn't want to be at Tottenham. Nothing he's done since Ramos has come in has changed my mind.
He's world class so obviusly will come up with a piece of magic every now and again but his workrate this season has been woeful.
As for those people who think teams wont want to buy him because he's been sulking at Tottenham, dream on.

I don't think his work rate has ever been much better though. I really think all this is being made out of nothing at all.

i agree with you. like the other guy said his workrate has never been his strongest point, but last season he at least looked hungry.

Well he was rather poor in the first half of last season as well, with some people questioning him even then. It wasn't untill after the new year he started to shine - something he has also done several seasons with Leverkusen.
