They are about to be properly tested. Got up a good head of steam and that might help in the first few fixtures but I'm guessing they will be worn down inch by inch over the coming months.

Ward Prowse wasnt a back up last year and started ahead of Wanyama at times and has more potential than Lallana imo

Chambers was a back up last season

no probs, but I doubt that saints will be top 7 by end of december -- only time will tell

Chambers was never a star player for Southampton, he was a promising player

As for their demise, I think this run of fixtures doesnt help

If they get 10 points from those games, it would be a success but it would hurt their elevated position

They got 13 points and have to play a manager less newcastle. It looks good for them for the rest of the season
