I am not even angry at VAR. We get our fair share of luck, but our overall performance was not befitting of winning the game.

We haven't one an away match Fulham on 23 Jan. In that time we have played Leicester, Wolves, Sheffield United in the cup and now Southampton. Absolutely awful to not have won any of those games.

If I recall it was very lucky we beat Fulham.

A top manager should be judged on performances away from home with a side like ours. It's the difference between getting somewhere and not.

I feel like we can. And should. Yes, our defence are not good, at all, but the changes that were made to 'shore up' - that's on one man, and one man only

Yeah we did and they were, Kulu sun was odd. But I don’t think we were necessarily great in the first half ether, better yes, good no. Overall we’ve played worse, really it just felt like a team limping towards the finish line. I think we would have been owned by a better team.

He’s paid plenty to coach them so that they’re able to do exactly that. He’s also paid plenty to deploy tactics which make that task easier. He’s doing neither, and has done neither for far too long.

Odd thing is, I don’t really care. Yes ideally I want us to get top 4 and win all our remaining games but also I know this is a dying regime and It’s hard to feel attached to something that one knows is essentially in its death throes. We should have won that but we didn’t, sucks but that’s the nature of Spurs atm, now next game and in a few months next manager. So it goes.

I know exactly what you mean. Getting 4th would still leave an empty feeling although I am not sure that it would be great for the next coach to be burdened with the Europa League.

How can anyone defend the manager. We’ve invited the pressure most of the game but even more so in the final 15 minutes. What top four team with a lead against the bottom of the table club who can’t buy a win and haven’t scored 3 goals all season sit back and soak it up. Absolute joke!

Not good enough for Top 4. We lucked it last year and will need luck to get it again this year. Until that defence is completely gutted, bar Romero, we will suffer more of these type of results.

I predict this thread petering-out at around 75 pages due to the utter apathy we all have for our club right now. When ordiniarily a draw-that-feels-like-a-defeat against the bottom club would probably get about 120+ pages.
