Well yes, there are a few inaccuracies. I cannot see how JV (and arguably even Lloris) is higher than Dier, Alli, Rose and Lamela. Toby or Dembele should also be the highest.Take it up with Squawka, not me:

Do the other ratings seem pretty accurate? They do to me. Four players have 1000 + ratings. Kane, Toby, Dembele and Eriksen. Is that not an accurate reflection of who has been our best players? So why would Lamela be the only one who's rating is somehow grossly inaccurate? The numbers don't lie. And I think they also show who on this forum is the most astute judge of players.
The reason Lamela's rating is so high is because he has been so crap for so long, so for him to finally come good counts as double..
We are all relieved and I'm pleased for the lad, long may it continue.
Sorry but that's utter horse shit.
How times did our performances drop when he got subbed at 60/65 minutes? Countless times. And why? Because he keeps the tempo high with his tireless running and harassing and our style of play requires a high tempo in order to be played effectively.
Granted he may not have got as many league goals as we all hoped and he is by no means perfect but his performances went up ten fold this past season and deserves more credit from some.
You kinda just proved my point there... soo great this season and we are all relieved it's happened and glad we finally got a player...was a more of a tongue in cheek line.
Didn't prove your point at all, I'm basing it on this season and nothing else.
Agree, the Squawka ratings and awards are a much more accurate reflection of a player's influence as there are no agendas or rose tinted spectacles involved. The comparison between Eriksen and Lamela is most interesting, and most at odds with the above ratings.
Either way, we are both arguing that we thought Lamela was excellent this season... was just trying to give my view on why he got more votes.
He also won it vs. United, but @chrissivad hasn't added that for some reason.7 of the 10 games he got motm in we didn't win. i think when the rest of the team is below par, lamela often becomes the default pick because of his energy and work rate.

yeah mine says he won 13 so there's two other games to account for too, i didn't keep a record of which particular games they were in though.
Chelsea, Man U and Norwich were missed
So you think 2788 votes are down to agendas? Riiiiiight
