Not knocking the guy but when Emerson Royal is your best player then you know that something is fundamentally broken.

How does Son stay on and Danjuma not get on the pitch?

So, so bad and yet nobody is even remotely surprised.

Burn it down and start again.

Levy is the one who needs to go but that's not going to happen unfortunately. He'll scapegoat Conte, sack him, and whomever we hire as the next manager it won't matter.

We'll be right back here 18 months from now when another manager will get blamed for Levy's failures and we start the cycle again. Wash, rinse, repeat. I'm fucking tired of it.
Why is it one or the other? I want levy out but Conte’s got to go, his tactical failings are behind a joke at this point. Sacking him isn’t scapegoating, it’s what happens to managers when their performance is unacceptable

Settle petal

We are discussing a single substitution here after a red card. Not the entire game. I’m not defending anything but the decision.

It’s annoying when people do this just because I’ve shown my support in the past.
I know what you mean but we needed a goal. I understood the theory behind the sub, I don't understand the sub when we are desperately searching for a goal and Kulu is one of few creative outlets we have.

They both need to go. Conte isn't up to it for whatever reason. Even if you don't get all the players you ask for you should still be able to cobble a team together with what is already there. Especially if you're an elite coach, right?

gone through all the stages of grief with this club in the past 3 years.

now i'm just sad at how insipid, spineless and boring we've become. we're not even treading water, we're going backwards.

football used to be such a release for me, such enjoyment watching games with my little boys and my dad. not anymore, it's a battle, it's horrible.

hoping against all hope that Levy gets lucky as he did with Poch, and I can enjoy football again soon.

I had my phone turned off during the match as my stream was behind, so I'm not sure what has been said but subbing Kulu for Sanchez is a sackable offence for me.

Yup, me too.

Not on its own merit, of course.

But given the context, whereby conceding 1 goal wouldn’t have changed the result, the only thing which would have done would be us scoring - it’s unforgivable to sub at attacker for a CB at that point.

Kulusevski for Danjuma or Moura or even Sarr, maybe.

For Sanchez, no way.

Conte will leave and go on to win trophies with other clubs. Will still be in the same position.
No doubt he will in Europe. The Prem is an entirely different beast from anything over there. Much, much harder and more competitive. He can win trophies with a much bigger budget like he did at Chelsea, or in an inferior league. Can't really compare.

That Sanchez sub was the nail in the coffin. Nothing to lose at that point, so why not go for it?
Made zero sense seeing as we were defending with only 2 or 3 at the back after that anyway. Might as well have chucked Danjuma, or even Moura on.

Sacking him and hiring a new man to take the flak and he gets to hide behind him.

To rinse is to repeat should be the clubs motto.

Never thought we’d have a manager and a system of play that could take the magic out of a midweek evening European match at the Spurs. I’m actually tearful.
