About as Spursy as it gets. Relatively straightforward home game and we somehow contrive to lose and hand a huge boost to our rivals just before they kick off. they gave Hojbjerg and Bentancur the runaround in midfield and we couldn't play any football. Back to when we continually got bested with any number of pivot options. No point having 3 up front if you can't win or control the ball.

I stand corrected. Arsenal losing to Southampton right after we fucked up is probably more Spursy than our result, but how delicious would a 3 point swing have been?

Well done Saints!

Shame Norwich couldn’t have held on!

How different the table would have looked if we’d put in a decent performance today and got three points. ?

Brentford hitting some decent form not going to roll over for us either!

Probably quite good for us they are in form. Will come out to play which makes it easier for us.

Delighted Arsenal lost but in some ways it makes our performance even more annoying. Why did we blow this great opportunity? So annoying.

Brighton at their best always give us problems. Today just showed up our lack of a top creative midfielder. Kane has been doing both jobs as creator and striker.
We certainly looked sluggish but our players had very few options when they had the ball.
So much for a weeks training.
On to Brentford. Utd are away to Liverpool on tues then away to Arse next sat morning.
Draw on sat at the Emirates would do us. Goes without saying a loss to Liverpool .
We then go 5 clear with 5 to play.
Needless to say Chelsea beat Arsenal on wed.

Guess I just find it hard to fathom how a performance like that resonates with an opportunity to go 6 points clear. Baffling.

We are Spurs mate :D

But in all honesty, and maybe I'm letting us off too much here but I think we've just come up against the wrong team who have set up in the right way to fully nullify us. For me the fault lies in not be able to adapt our way of playing more than looking at individual performances. I personally don't think we would have seen the same struggles had we played someone else, I really thought Brighton may have been a bit more open and daring but they were nothing of the sort.

We were really bad but I believe Conte will beat our players back on track come Brentford

all-round bad result, but the thing that i didn't like the most was when Harry done his ankle with the keeper,
for me Sanchez catches the ball cleanly but then goes and jumps on the ground on to Harry, i know keepers do it now to waste time by going to ground but it was very clear to me he was going into Kane and no need to do it.

I'm a massive Harry fan, but this wasn't the time for a transatlantic golf trip
Sent completely the wrong message
Tbh though our stadium support doesn't deserve 4th
Its not just about today, it's about decades of whinging and apathy
See what happens next
I want Lavinier or Paskotski rwb
If not then Bergwijn
Maybe also Davies or Bergwijn at lwb with Rodon LCB
Our current wbs aren't up to it, I don't rate Sess, summats gotta change, because next week is Tricky with a double Twist and a reverse slalom with a cherry on top ???

I did forget that we aren’t very good really. The first half last week showed it and we have scored goals when not really dominating which have led to us winning comfortably as we could pick teams off. Also the full backs are so key to how we play and at the moment they are poor

Ronaldo is becoming a big problem for our top 4 dreams ?

They’ve always been in the race for it as much as us. The media narrative of them being out of it was always nonsense. Sure it was only Norwich at home but they still won.

Man U play Chelsea and arsenal and those games are huge.

A point would have even been good considering the other results.

Harry bumps into him so he was retaliating!

Agree with it all, but sure would be nice if Ronaldo stopped doing it all on his own ?
