Chelsea were massively underwhelming, really surprised they didn’t get themselves up for this one. Looks from the outside they’ve got a lot of players sulking who aren’t willing to pull their socks up.

Chelsea a great example of why you don't just go splash money on players. Looking at today they bought a whole new squad and it didn't do much. So disjointed.

In the games Stellini has been in charge he has shown Contes tactics do work with the players we have. And we can actually be enjoyable to watch. So my question is, why is it so bad when AC is here?

I do think we need to look at that Leicester defeat in isolation.

We lost to Arsenal cause they are flying and we had players out, otherwise weve been ok generally.

Against Leicester we had no Romero, who sets the press/tempo for us.

Conte decided to give Porro a chance which was a really bad call as Romero was not there to offer stability. Tanganga isn't someone who could guide Porro through his first start.

With Romero and Emerson down that side weve been much more stable.

This is an overlooked part of his game. He really does set the tone - not just defensively, but there are times when he sees the attack being lackluster, and he'll go on a run to try an make things happen on that end of the pitch also.

This is what bothers me about takeover talk. I don't want to become like them. I know they will probably get it right and win stuff , but their approach just doesn't appeal to me.

Also think we were hugely unlucky. Every bloody shot they took went in.
we could have been 3-0 up early on. Was a very weird game and I think the players had one eye on the Milan game

Just got home. Pleased with the result but wtf was the ref doing? Nipped off for a shit at one point, decided to book someone, then didn't, gave Chelsea the dropped ball when it was ours when play was stopped and on and on.

Anyway, pleased with the result and surprised by how toothless Chelsea looked. Absolutely made up for Skippy also, great to see him back in the side.

I think he had issues with his tech.
Went to the side line at one point, and then went down the tunnel (you could still see him from the other side of the stadium) to get stuff replaced.

First time at the stadium, didn't get much time to look around before the game, but it's an amazing stadium!

Made even better with the results

and in that time we've played City and 2 of our biggest rivals WH & Chelsea.

Haven't conceded either.

The one game we were a mess was the game Romero missed and Conte messed the right side of defence up
I'd like to know if it was Conte or Stellinis decision to bring Pedro on late today.
Imo this is how you should introduce a player to the premier league. Late on, at home, in a game with a 2 goal cushion. Not thrown in on in your first week, starting, away from home against a pretty decent team. Starting him against Leicester was stupid.

I saw him fiddling with his arm/shoulder which would also explain that - thanks.
