If the ref didn't see that then he's not watch paying attention which begs the question are they good enough or bias . So many incidents go unpunished or ignored?
From the stands Mickail Antonio was constantly at it, he’s a dirty bastard. Romero gave him a bit to worry about though. I think Antonio was knackered early on and resorting to shithousery because he didn’t have much else.

Rice is very average imo
I don’t agree. Some of the first touches he has are sublime, he’d be great in a better midfield and with better players in front of him. He’s one of those players great off the ball, and gets in really good positions, popping up everywhere. No, he’s decent.

He was in the edge of insanity all game and really in danger of losing it completely, I did wonder if that's why Moyes took him off but I suppose it could have been because Cuti had him in his pocket.

Why the fuck are people now trying to attach themselves to the goal?!
What is that all about?
Prevent cruelty against goals. The punishment they endure having a ball blasted aginst them and mindlessly kicked by keepers boots is cruel and heartless.
It'll be the net next.
Then the ball.

I think he’s a better player than yesterday. He looked really tired and just couldn’t get going. He was going to get himself sent off. He got bullied by Romero and he’s not used to that!

More likely because he cannot play two games in quick succession. If his dodgy hamstrings go then that's their season over. 120 mins on Thursday, I was surprised they even started him TBH.

I always thought he was overrated but this season he has really stepped up and shown he is quality.

Almost every thing went through him yesterday always where he needed to be. He isn't a player who catches the eye with what he does just how much he does of it and most of it is successful if a bit steady. As an example Bentancur was threading passes through the eyes of needles stroking the ball with an easy seemingly nonchalant style and that's not what you see with Rice. That doesn't mean he's not as good as Bentancur though by any means.

You still get searched coming into the stadium. Just a thin tie wrap can be slid down the leg and missed.

I thought about that but one of them could still have a sharp bit of plastic or something that wouldn’t get picked up by the scanners. Anyway, our stewards did well but maybe there needs to be something around the bottom of the stands to make getting on the pitch harder. It’s a problem for all clubs I guess.

He was done after about 30 minutes. But in the time before that he was running around like a bull in a china shop. Not the brightest as we know but you’d think he’d manage his workload better after playing a lot recently.

It’s one of those thing that will only get stepped up after something horrific has happened.

Every time we lost the ball (often) he would be there picking it up. He’s easily the best and most dangerous player they have and my heart would sink and I’d be thinking oh no, here we go again. He can’t do it on his own and we dealt with him pretty well in the end.

Rice is a baller, no way he stays at West Ham this summer.
