Been quite apathetic to it all recently and been trying not to get so emotionally invested as its unwanted stress. But today really got me angry. Expected so much more after Southampton but the first 20 mins were as bad as we have been for a long time.

I know its only a game but my heart ain’t listening to my head and I am royally pissed at the moment. Not because we automatically deserve better but because we all desperately want us to be better.

If you film the game on your phone you are a **** btw. Had to tell some pillock to put his phone down as I couldn’t see Kane’s free kick.

Can’t stand a big percentage of the crowd at spurs now. Take me back to whl.

Probably controversial but I genuinely think the crowd made a difference today. Their reaction at FT against Southampton perpetuates exactly the type of nerves and mistakes we saw early on today. Most people on this planet would be nervous walking out to face that again.
I understand that thinking but when Lloris's mistakes put us 2 down that affects those fans and the team, also affects Wolves in a positive way. But its Winks fault for the people who use an easy target, thank goodness he cant
The problem is there is no pressure from off the bench.

Winks came out and said he thought he was done at the club, obviously he got his head down and put in some shifts to force his way back in.

But then he gets back in and the competition is released, meaning that he consciously or subconsciously knows one error or bad performance isn't going to have too much of an effect in terms of his starting spot.

Until Conte can bring in quality in these positions and in reserve, we will likely see players continue doing the same.

I understand your thinking but Winks isn't the only one making mistakes, also he isn't making the biggest ones, he has however become an easy target and whatever he does well which gets him in the team doesn't get recognised. I am no big Winks fan but I am tired of fans singling out a single player repeatedly when it is unjustified and he is no worse than others.

I moved to the east lower today to get away from the moaner behind me. A much nicer atmosphere with still some singing but a lot of tourists which you don’t normally get in the south stand so they ruin it.

I don’t know the answer but the stadium atmosphere isn’t helping but then again the shit served up on the pitch isn’t either.

I was hoping everyone would find their place by now.

Winks is one of the very reasons we find ourselves where we are today. I am fed up with fans quoting his loyalty to the club like it's a badge of honour.

If anything it shows us all how weak we are as a squad, and how much work is to be done. That we failed to move him on in January speaks volumes for his reputation. Today he was woeful, gave the ball away, and failed to close the Wolves players down countless times.

He along with Sanchez and Davies need to be the first ones out come Summer.

I think it'll be pretty obvious to everyone (hopefully including Fabio and Conte) that we need to completely reshape our defence to suit Romero and possibly Dier.

The problem will be that we'll need to convince two or three TOP players to come in, including wing backs who know WTF they're supposed to be doing, and if we're no better than mid table at the end of the season, as seems likely, we'll have no chance in attracting tose players. It's swings and roundabouts.

I'm laughing, not because it's funny, it's fucking tragic.

.
So you guys would prefer Emerson? Doherty has not been good, in fact he has at times been our poorest performer but he has improved. Emerson stunk the place out last week and hasn't been convincing before that, I'm happy to see Doherty over Emerson after that. Doherty was good a Wolves but I haven't seen a good Emerson at all. Its damned if you do or don't with the options.

The scouting of players will be key to the summer. It is not about throwing money at the team. Conor Coady and the likes of Jared Bowen would enhance this team, but their CVs would see some fans turn their noses down at them.

I posted previously that the scouting department needs to turn over their notes and have someone ask what was missed on domestic players doing well at other clubs and why players like Sanchez were signed.

I have also said that Conte needs to coach what he has and not what he wants. Scouting is not always about the opposition, there are times when you need to scout yourself. It is what good teams do to eliminate complacency.

Close off Romero, let Sanchez have the ball, let Lloris have the ball, force Davies onto his right, leave Winks open, put balls in behind Royal, play diagonal crosses to the back post, make late runs into the Spurs peno area. These are easy observations and Chelsea, Southampton and Wolves have all exposed them in the last three games.

I have seen worse down the years. Preferred when we were poor and the expectations were low. The chance of top four and missing out to Arsenal or West Ham is painfully frustrating.

Yeah that’s what my brother was saying but tbh West Ham getting CL would tip me over the edge.
I think west ham getting CL would tip uefa over the edge no way those clubs abroad can cope with travelling fans turning up in caravans.

I can't get it out of my head, that for some fucked up reason, we signed Doherty and Emerson after we let KWP go. He is (far as I can see) twice the player both his successors are.

I might be remembering wrong, but when Sanchez signed I believe we had Poch, Hitchen and Levy primarily involved in the decisions. Two are gone and one no longer gets involved in transfers.

Doesn’t seem that way at all. Going to take a good few years I think. Spoke to the ticket office in the week and they said they are making season ticket relocations much easier in the summer. So that should help hopefully.
