Just so you all know, currently watching Sunderland Vs nottingham Forest game and they have just confirmed , Steed has signed for Sunderland. Looks like they have a few better players now and might be a bit more skillful next year.

Diouf, tainio, chimbonda,malbranque

Decent players but sad to see steed go as i thought he would be an amazing squad player for us and can play all over the pitch.

Good luck steed you played well :)

(by the way Moussi for forest looks a great DM for forest i can see him in the prem soon)

He's an ok player for a team that aims for 8 - 12th in the league. Won't miss him too much since it's obvious we need better players with more speed on that wing.

Good luck to him though.

Steed was (is) pure class. He is a superb reader of the game and a better than average link-man and passer of the ball.

I really do wish him well, a fine footballer.

Au revoir et merci.

I will miss him more than I will miss Keane.

I think he would've been an excellent squad player to have around. He is soon to be 29 though, so you can see why he wanted to leave for first team football. I expect Ramos and Gus were honest with him as well and explained his appearances would be limited next season.

Thanks for your service Steeeeeeeeed!! Wish you and the other former Yids at the Stadium of Light the very best of luck!!

Sunderland are going to be VERY safe next season with the likes of Chim, Steed, and Tainio in their ranks!
