My main conclusion from last is that ...wow Charlie Adam is fat! How is that guy still a premiership footballer!?

He came on and tried to kick about 3 of our players. I was surprised it took him about 4 minutes to get booked to be fair!

Thank God that Dele Alli miss didn't matter as it's got to be one of the worst misses ever. Shows the mentality of the lad that it didn't destroy him and he ended up bagging his 2nd goal with a great finish.

don't think it did matter ;)

but as you said, it's good that it didn't effect him during the game.

I struggle to understand how he picks up a wage for something he is really bad at.:arghh:
Didn't the commentator say he put his back out getting into his car...:D

He is a fat Jabba now...his first real involvement in the game was that rugby tackle on Lamela!!!

Just watched the full 90. Until just before the 2nd Stoke had good possession without threatening. Says it all about us that at 3 or 4-0 up we still press up the pitch and want to continually win the ball and go for goals.

to me stoke tried to copy our play last night. I will give credit to them as they did seem to do well in the first half, even though we should have scored more than the 1 we did have. In the second half they started to struggle with fitness and you could see then struggling.

Just goes to show how fit our team are to be able to do this week in and week out for full games.

I was worried a bi at the start of the second half when Stoke had a lot of the ball and we struggled to get control. On the other hand because they had to attack us you get the impression, on a second viewing, that we used this to patiently open them up with counter attacks rather than going gung-ho. Once we got the second then we went into full attacking mode to kill them off. Smart!

I've always said this to new Spurs supporters.........having followed them since 61'
"Welcome to a lifetime of nearlyness punctuated by the occasional actuality". Well I hope we can all enjoy some actuality in the coming weeks:whistle:

That was an odd game - with that early goal we were playing on the break for most of it.
As a result, our possession and passing stats are not that impressive.
It was good to see Kane and Alli more involved - they've had a handful of touches the last few games.
Great result, but I dont think this stoke side were up for it at all.
Job done all the same.

It didn't feel that way at all, Stoke were pressing hard but then lost steam as the game went on. If anything they gave us far more of a game than you'd expect for a team with sod-all to play for.

If anything it just reminded me of the United game. A team trying to keep up with out intensity for 90 minutes bit only lasting an hour before crumbling. Hopefully no one learns from their mistakes against us.

Watched the whole 90 again.

Anyone else notice the Stoke fans, those that were left anyway, clapping us off the pitch as well?

Eriksen had another fantastic game, for me this guy could be our player of the season, (many) more assists now than any other Premiership player this term.
