Eriksen has 14 goals and 10 assists in the last 11.5 months. That's an incredible record. He's won us so many points in that time, it's unbelievable that people were ready to drop him because he doesn't apparently work hard enough.

This game is about goals and end product and that lad is about as a good a goal scoring attacking midfielder as there is anywhere. A true 40 million pound gem that should be built around at 22 years old.

Wow! Now that side that finished the game is the sort of side that needs to start. So much better balanced. Dembele excellent and stambouli added a better shape. Chadli done more in 5 mins than lamela did in 85 and walker was brilliant as the game went on. And well erikson.... The little boy is a genius!!!!
Chadli coming on meant Eriksen moved into the middle and hey presto he scores. Simple really. Play your best players in their best position.

A little bit lucky but I will take the win Eriksen total class when he needs to be. We are playing shit and still getting wins and are up to 7th. How far could we go if we started playing well ?
Loved the celebration. COYS. Swans must feel gutted as they bossed that game. Signs of improvement, thought Davies made a match changing tackle, Fazio was pretty awesome too. Generally good defending. Kane was excellent too.

Fuck 'em. Well deserved. Let's be honest. Hugo wasn't never really tested. All they do is pissing about in their own half.

The fitness stuff is paying off, half of our shots came in the last 10 minutes.

Frustrating atm, we can't put a complete performance together, but each game there are glimpses there.

Think we'll get at least a point.

We like playing Swansea, they play out from the back and the high pressing game is perfect for this type of match - if we can get it going that is.

No excuses for fatigue here though, enough players were rested so lets see a lot more of what we saw against Everton and a lot less than we saw against Palace.

We manage that and I think we'll edge this. 2-1 Spurs - a recurring scoreline for us.

Boom. lol.

Think you have to play dembele or stambouli over mason. He's much to lightweight and positionally unstable to.play in a middle 2.
Dembele is frustration but he benefits defensively much more and helps retain greater possession.

Not sure what we do with Bob. Only looks good playing deeper.
Lamela is an inconsistent young player who makes poor choices shock horror. The abuse he gets is over the top and a bit vile. He didn't demand Tottenham pay 30 mill for him.

I have no idea what poch is training this team in. Looks more random than tims team

Not deserved at all but a fabulous win

Kane was outstanding all game, Eriksen is top class and has to be played as the Number 10 behind Kane

Dembele played a role when he came on

Lamela and Soldado are both lost causes and need to be upgraded

Defensively we were poor and Lloris once again saved us

Walker was a real positive to see back

Finally figured out Poch's tactics - he's gone for the Ali/Foreman rope a dope again

Yep. Basically this!

Dembele did well when he came on and as soon as Eriksen moved infield we looked so much more dangerous. Why on earth wouldn't we want to get him in central areas when he can do that?! I find it mind-bendingly strange.

Lamela is not working hard enough, and by hard work I don't mean careering into stupid, aggressive tackles and putting himself about a bit (which he did). I mean working hard at stopping himself from his infuriating over indulgences on the ball. It's not acceptable to keep doing this, however talented you might be. It's a team game.

Defensive improvement is a must.

Happy. Fabulous result.

I thought that after 75 minutes, we were the better side and looked more like scoring but I think Swansea will righteously feel robbed by that result.

Only spurs....I've gone from slowly tying the noose to feeling like the euro millions winner in minutes...COYS big 3 points against a good Swansea side to be fair.

Not labeled anyone anything. We were better for the 1st 20 and the last 20 and that is nearly half of the match. Were we lucky to get 3 points? Yes but it wasn't all Swansea, think a draw would have been a fair result
I agree about the first 20, but no way were we better for the last 20. We had a few chances yes, but no sustained control of the game.

Here comes the analysis.
