How can we be one up and still with 11 men?

We're fortunate to still be ahead, but no way should we have had anyone sent off. The only offence in that half that could have warranted a red card was Williams kicking Harry Kane on the floor, but the homer didn't even give a free kick for that.

Would sacrifice Soldado as having two strikers on the pitch isn't occupying their back four enough to justify it.

Bring on Stambouli, should relish the competitive edge and help beef up the midfield

Replay of that Montero to Boni and Davies tackle shows how weak Bentaleb is on the tackle. Horrible angle and no desire to stop the attack.

We are missing that steal in the middle. Sandro at his peak was amazing. The middle of the park we have a player I don't fully believe in (Bentaleb) and a player trying to be the defensive stopper he isn't (Mason).

In other games we've played better and come in behind. So i wouldnt jump off any cliffs just yet.

Fancy us to nick another if we can carry on withstanding them for the first part of the second.

Ref is bent, we've had two throws and a corner and absolutely everything else has gone their way.

Walker looks very ring rusty. Mason looks tired. I'd replace them with Stambouli and Chiriches...

I'd go along with that. They're like two farts caught in a trance today.

You realize Lamela, Soldado and Kane are the most active players pit there on the pitch, right?

Stambouli, Dembele, Chadli for Bentaleb, Mason and Eriksen for me

Active in what though? Just because you're 'active' it doesn't mean anything good is coming from it. Soldado has been active and I don't think his lack of actual activity is his fault because we're not controlling the game so he's not getting much of the ball. Lamela has been active yes but he just can't try anything progressive without losing the ball most of the time.

Kane is the only one I would praise in an offensive sense, even minus his goal.

You can defend lamela once he starts winning games for us. When he scores and assists consistently. At the keeps giving the ball away and it's killing us. Yes he works hard and runs around a lot and fouls a lot. Need a bit more for 30 million quid I'm afraid.
A bit more???

For all of his ineffectiveness going forward at least Lamela gets back and puts in some work rate, I'm yet to see anything good from Bobby or Eriksen.

Very little attention in here about how big a **** A. Williams is.

He's left his foot in challenges on several occasions in addition to deliberately kicking Harry Kane. Dirty ****. But of course the commentator keeps waffling on about Lamela 'waving his arms around' when all he's done is legitimately shielded the ball.

I disagree, he is holding his mark and getting it done in the end. Job done.

You have to be kidding me right? I'm genuinely not sure if you're winding me up? Every Bony opportunity has come from him not being tight enough to Bony/ unaware of where he is. Bony should have at least 1 goal by now

Issue here is Lamela is really trying... and that's probably what's not helping. He keeps trying too hard in these games and it means he makes more mistakes.

He started well but as Swansea have come into this he's been a little poor. I'd say let Poch give him a half time talking to before taking him out of this game

Yet he keeps doing it, an somehow no one corrects it. It's blatantly obvious that he tries to do too much.
