Yes he doesn't look after possession well, but at least Lamela doesn't hide. Works hard, presses and available to pass to.
How can we be one up and still with 11 men?
Yeah, I've supported him since the beginning and always wanted to see him get game time, but he has and it just isn't happening in the PL for him. Shame.i'd take anyone over soldado right now.
I'd go along with that. They're like two farts caught in a trance today.Replay of that Montero to Boni and Davies tackle shows how weak Bentaleb is on the tackle. Horrible angle and no desire to stop the attack.
We are missing that steal in the middle. Sandro at his peak was amazing. The middle of the park we have a player I don't fully believe in (Bentaleb) and a player trying to be the defensive stopper he isn't (Mason).

You realize Lamela, Soldado and Kane are the most active players pit there on the pitch, right?
Stambouli, Dembele, Chadli for Bentaleb, Mason and Eriksen for me
A bit more???You can defend lamela once he starts winning games for us. When he scores and assists consistently. At the keeps giving the ball away and it's killing us. Yes he works hard and runs around a lot and fouls a lot. Need a bit more for 30 million quid I'm afraid.
Fair point, let's get behind the team, COYS. Just need either centre half to mark Bony!!!I think some on here need to realise how formidable the Swans are at home;.
Very little attention in here about how big a **** A. Williams is.
I disagree, he is holding his mark and getting it done in the end. Job done.
Issue here is Lamela is really trying... and that's probably what's not helping. He keeps trying too hard in these games and it means he makes more mistakes.
He started well but as Swansea have come into this he's been a little poor. I'd say let Poch give him a half time talking to before taking him out of this game
