I didnt realise that Swanseas record at home was so good! Played 8, won 5, drawn 2 & lost only 1.

We need to bolster the midfield. Mason has tried hard but needs a rest. Swansea are the model that we need to go for with player choice (but better players obviously). Tricky pacy players down the wings and a strong skilful target man in the middle. We just lack that pace and width to trouble fullbacks and pull players out of position.

Walker isn't match sharp yet. Vertonghen and fazio need to pay more attention to bony. We can win this but need to get Eriksen in the game more and get them on the back foot.

You have to be kidding me right? I'm genuinely not sure if you're winding me up? Every Bony opportunity has come from him not being tight enough to Bony/ unaware of where he is. Bony should have at least 1 goal by now
I'm not. Bony is attempting to split our cbs, and Fazio is doing his part when opportunities come to his side. He has been our best defender. If the 1 "should-be" goal you are referring to is the offside attempt, Fazio and Vertonghen held the line well enough to deny the chance. Bony will get chances, he is a good striker, the point is that Fazio is denying them on his side. He is doing great.

Was doing a LOTR marathon so I lost the track of time and missed the first half, good to see we are leading.

It doesn't help that we have others (Soldado, Eriksen etc) who aren't doing anything, allowing them to bring the ball out of defence and also for the likes of Sigurdsson to drop in and make the extra man. Lamela and Kane are admirably chasing down and trying to win the ball back, but we don't have someone who is dropping back in to help out. Often its the two cm's against three or even four players, and that's when their inexperience shows. An extra centre mid for Soldado is the change I would make.
Eriksen and Soldudo have certainly been lazy.

I tried to explain to you that I was a fan of Lamela to, but you didn't want to know...so why's it different for you?

I think he's been poor and I've never said that before, yet you lumped me in with the brigade who can't wait to criticize - which is not the case. I've defended him a lot.

But we nearly conceded due to a mistake of his. Don't translate that to mean I can't wait to jump on his back, couldn't be further from the truth. But its about time he started showing a bit more in game intelligence and robustness.

Lamela could do with bulking up like bale did and that would give him more presence i feel.

Keeping him on could be yet another kick in the teeth for us.
The thing is Harry Kane is a number 10 and plays best there and has a history of not doing well when up front especially when the ball is hoofed up to him. I rather our best player play in his best position or at least on the left wing and move eriksen inside

Agree in theory but subbing Soldado would be yet another kick in the teeth for him.

We're not a charity, he's had plenty of chances. Ineffective today, yes we're winning and we need to be supportive but if you look at the game overall and everyone's contributions you can see the areas where it's not happening for us.

We need to go out there second half and not concede a goal or if we do we need to score again and we will win ....
