Are we trying to secure Verts' new contract, so refusing to play him there? Could be.

Bentaleb looks better than Davies and we may purchase another good CM. Just saying you never know why we may need to play him there.

No. He'd be a much more well rounded LB than Rose. He's smarter - in footballing terms - is much more assured on the ball, stronger and is more effective in his tackling.
