Worth noting that he’ll be going to the Olympics with the Japan squad, so we will want to sort this before that stars, and he likely won’t be available for the start of the season.

I can't find any article or tweet from a Sky Italia journalist which says this?

Tottenham, squeeze for Tomiyasu

Tottenham wants to tighten for Bologna defender Tomiyasu. Overtaking Atalanta and offer of 15 million euros plus 3 bonuses. There are a couple of million left but Spurs count on closing in the coming days.

Seems a good signing which matches what we want. Multiple positions seems to match how the modern day full back is appreciated.

Soft spot for him because he was a pure master on Fm20 for me. Think if their scouts are accurate we can expect 10 goals a season from RWB with at least 35 assists....

TBF this is a classic spurs signing. Let's hope he is more Vertonghen and Alderweireld than Chiriches and Wimmer.

Expect we've decided to press ahead now we know Nuno will be the man in charge (and therefore presumably a back three), as this guy seems perfect for the RCB role.

If he's the only CB we bring in though then we're in some serious trouble.

I really shouldn’t be this happy that he isn’t a Mendes client. Tomiyasu plus another CB, RB/RWB, RWF, cheap ST and that’s the ideal window. Maybe a B2B CM too, but that isn’t as important unless Skipp isn’t going to be played by the manager.

Have to be honest I get baffled by these hypothetical 3 at the back teams. We have shit CB’s, so having even more of them on the pitch isn’t going to help us and we lose the midfield far too often as it is, without giving up a midfielder for another CB.

Convinced a 433 would get the best out of Hojbjerg, Lo Celso and Ndombele too and they will all likely be more influential for us than any CB we have or could sign

Whenever them 3 played together last season they were terrible.

Sky Italy / DiMarzio seem to be breaking everything since Paratici signed.
Yeh, Sky Italy has broken most of the managerial stuff first so its probably fair to consider them reliable regarding transfers whilst Paratici is with us

Guess we will block him from going

Good media whoring. I’m impressed.
