I'll be bitterly disappointed if it's Son who comes out. He's earned a good run in the team, and Dele has been sub standard too many times. Bring him back in over festive period.

I was tempted to keep Alli in as despite his form (which I don't think has been as bad as some people are making out) he can still get a goal out of not much and push Eriksen deeper alongside Dier, but that would have left us with basically zero options to change the game off the bench.

What's happened to N'Koudou? Has he even been seen since he scored against APOEL?

Agree on Dele, and that would certainly be another viable alternative.

I don't know, we just look like we've lost that little bit of urgency off the ball, in terms of pressing and movement.

Poch needs to get that back imo.

Why is Rose being benched?

He's our best left back and actually played well against City.

Sentiment has no place in football. Davies gets paid thousands to sit on the bench, let's not feel sorry for him.

Dembele needs to rest, I’m not jumping on the ‘he’s finished’ bandwagon but he has been rushed back imo due to Wanyama’s absence and Sissoko’s mehness. If Lamela doesn’t start over Dele we riot, one of our biggest shortcomings this season over previous ones has been the lack of front pressing - it was our calling card and now it seems to be occasional and half arsed. Lamela will help address this and set the tone

And please take Dier out of the CB positions. He’s decent in a 3, but a liability in a 2. I only pick him in my XI because I think Eriksen should drop back and you’d need some kind of defensive partner for him
