You don't need to preach to us, you need to convince Levy!If we all accept we are only a top 6/7 club as we stand and stick to a genuine 3 year plan and not EXPECT success then he is the perfect manager in my opinion
I think sticking with, and achieving success with Ajax is the way better option for upward mobility.
I know football is generally crazy but I truly think our reputation has taken a massive hit. Any younger manager showing promise with genuine options or already at a pretty good club like Ajax would need their fucking head examining if they choose to come to us and on a hiding to nothing.
Which is a why a 'been there, done that, slapped the pope in the face' nutter like LVG was so attractive. His reputation would be unblemished by not achieving the near impossible with us.
Not even Levy, he doesn't want to fire managers. It's the court of public opinion which seems to be made up of Johnny and Jenny come lately types and the boo boys at the lane. You don't need to preach to us, you need to convince Levy!
Exactly, he has LVG's philosophy, combined with a new-school way of dealing with players.Frank de Boer is a better coach than Rodgers imo and look what Rodgers has done at Liverpool with time and backing in the transfer market. Our fans need to look at that and have patience. I truly believe de Boer is a special manager.
He has a fair amount of Cruyff in him tooExactly, he has LVG's philosophy, combined with a new-school way of dealing with players.
If I'd never read any of @Archibald&Crooks posts I'd have expected more decorum from a mod.
Is it just me or is the whole thing just incredibly boring now....
Never been this distant from spurs, not sure what to expect next season now. Levy by appointing Sherwood has completely ballsed up, he can't get the next guy wrong
Don't see the doom and gloom. We're a few defenders and a decent manager away from being a very good team. LVG would have been very nice but let's be honest the other candidates are a million miles better than Tim Sherwood.Yep.
In some ways I am absolutely fuming over this LvG/United thing and really lost as to who I would want as our next manager.
But in many, many other ways I really do not give a fuck anymore. Whoever comes would be mental to join Spurs, it's a shambles. I don't really care about the transfer window and who we might get in to sell on in the future either. Just not bothered about any of it if I stop and think about it.
And yet I cannot drag myself away from SC.
If we got LVG that would reignite my Spurs fire - and that's why I'm so absolutely gutted today. United ****s. Always ready to fuck us over in new and inventive ways.

Frank will win his 4th consecutive Eredivisie this weekend. His team plays a pro-active, possession game utilising interchangeable positions in the truest traditions of totaalvoetbal. And the last time I checked, he didn't have a penchant for getting his balls out at half time, like his compatriot. Sign him up.
For someone that doesn't want to sack managers, he has done an awful lot of it.Not even Levy, he doesn't want to fire managers. It's the court of public opinion which seems to be made up of Johnny and Jenny come lately types and the boo boys at the lane.
