We'll soon find out won't weFucking hell. He's a good right back, but he's hardly irreplaceable.

So it doesn't matter if anyone leaves by that logicIf we improve our overall squad it will be a good window ....if we make big improvements to our overall squad it will be a brilliant window, whoever leaves.
When are people going to get that this management team is about team and not individual?

I'm not talking about a mass exodus. Read what was quoted to what I replied.Huh? Only Walker has ostracised himself... we're not having a fire sale of money grabbing players.
ITKs have previously said he's burned all his bridges and to do that he must have seriously peed off Poch, the squad and everyone else that matters at the club. Fortunately there's several decent right backs out there who could replace him... Perreira being the likely choice and for circa 1/3 of what Walker will go for.

I stand by it can't be called a brilliant window if we sold walker. Think some are trying to convince themselves otherwise though.

Disagree not sure how that would be brilliant tbh losing the best RB in the league for a young inexperienced RB.It can easily be a brilliant window... sell Walker for £50-60m and replace him with an exciting younger right back and hopefully Lemar. We'd have strengthened the squad for no or minimum net spend.
We'll soon find out won't we
Perhaps any incomings will be delayed until we know if Lamela is going to be fit.
Agree the bale money was poorly invested. However, Bale papered over the cracks of how bad that squad was. If we have 40-60m to replace a right back and strengthen it should be a different matter.
..not if we are improved and can make a better challenge for trophies. So it doesn't matter if anyone leaves by that logic
Levy doesnt need an excuse to wait. He does it anyway.Perhaps any incomings will be delayed until we know if Lamela is going to be fit.
Off to RB Leipzig, I believe.Blue and yellow lol.
In other news I'm surprised we haven't had any links from anywhere to Bruma yet as we were being linked to him constantly during latter stages of seaso .
I wonder if we're missing a trick on Sandro from Malaga. Everton reportedly sniffing around him now Atletico are ruled out. Previous interest in him from us. Looks a little like young Alexis Sanchez in terms of style/position etc.
There have been S ome media sources that we're still looking at him, albeit not great sources. If he does have the rumoured £6m (or whatever it was) buyout clause, it may be he fits very well with the ITK suggesting we were looking at players who offered value.
If the scouting is on the money, I'd be happy enough for us to upgrade but maintain a net profit to be reallocated to wage rises for Toby etc. I'm not too fussed about big name signings, let's just make intelligent signings that fit the squad ethos.
Carvajal. Good night.
Walker. Footballing brain the size of a walnut. Discuss.
Yes I know but it's the elephant in this discussion room
Right on cue, he's been officially announced just now.Off to RB Leipzig, I believe.
