Nope you're both wrong, I never once said I thought we'd end up with nobody, what I did say was my confidence was starting to waver and it wasn't looking as good. But that feeling I've had about getting someone we've had no links with has always been there

I imagine we'll see lots of our fans walking around with Adebayor 10 on their backs next season, He would'nt have been one of my top 3 choices to bring in up front but beggars cant be chooser's as they say, all sounds good on the itk front it appears as though things have finally started moving in and out but its just not possible to relax until its all official and if and when it becomes official i will definitely be having a sneaky 20 on us to win the league at 66/1.

Just thinking about Noodles cryptic. Do the ITK's tell the Mods who the player is that they are hinting at? If not how about introducing a system where-by they send a password protected file with the answer which the mods can then open at the end of the transfer window? That way you wouldn't get all this debate about whether someone has changed the answer to suit the latest developments, which would mean less ITK bashing. Obviously this would be a voluntary system but if they've got nothing to hide...
