Respect the info but Nike doesnt do stadium rights. And they wont start now with us. If they do start, it would probably either be a bigger team(no matter the sport) or at the University of Oregon. Not Tottenham Hotspur. Hate to butst your bubbles, guys.
How the fuck would u know what their future plans are?Respect the info but Nike doesnt do stadium rights. And they wont start now with us. Keeping this quoted for when you're wrong.
Considering you are usually so upbeat and optimistic I will tend to take your word on this occasion......Respect the info but Nike doesnt do stadium rights. And they wont start now with us. I think we may need to change the motto of the club to 'We want to do our business early'.
However this will only apply each year between the middle of May and the middle of August.
On all other dates the motto should be changed subtly to 'We wanted to do our business early'.
I will donate £40 to SC if I am wrong.Keeping this quoted for when you're wrong.
Bit concerned actually, the info journos put out a while back (similar time to the original ITK) was £30m per season, we are going to look a bit silly if we get less than Chelsea are now getting despite throwing in naming rights
So does this mean we're going to be playing at The Nike Stadium? With a big fuck-off tick on the front of the shirts? Fanfuckingtastic.
It better be a ridiculous amount of money.
I don't know the sponsorship market very well but traditionally naming rights do not hold much value is my perception. I think the OS are close to securing something for just 5m a year and that's a stadium which will hold numerous events and had the olympics. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
Naming rights hold about £5m-£10m of value per year. But my problem is, Arsenal's deal with Emirates happened years ago and that was the shirt and stadium sponsor deal. If we cant get £10m more than that for a stadium/apparel outfitter deal then our marketing value hasnt increased at all lately.I don't know the sponsorship market very well but traditionally naming rights do not hold much value is my perception. 85% of all transfers in Europe (including Januarys) happen in the last fortnight of August.
A percentage of January transfers happen in the last fortnight of August?!?
I could have sworn that January transfers happened in January ...
