I am no emoji expert, but there are specific emoticons for that saying, and it doesn't make sense for him just to tweet, at no prompting that there is no news. I am not saying this tweet is transfer related either, so you might be right as pretty much every thing that comes out of that account is jumped on.

Maybe even JJs tweets should be restricted to ones that actually say something, but that's something for the mods to decide.

JJ 'winnered' this post so if he's on the money then I think we can be hopeful of some really good news at some point. I'm guessing at least one of the mods knows who it is too.

Emojis aren't a Twitter thing, they're a Unicode thing popularised by iPhone and then Android. Not that that's the big issue here.
