At this moment in time, I do not think Eriksen can do any better than Spurs. There's been rumours of Juve but they've got Pjanic. For me, he's important for us (tactically very astute) but too inconsistent as of now to attract the elite clubs.

Totally agree with this. For what it's worth I rate Eriksen highly and am very glad that he's a Spurs player, but I can't see any of the clubs that would be a step up from us wanting Eriksen enough to pay the kind of fee that Levy would demand for him. His ability and the current stature of our club are pretty much perfectly matched IMO (i.e. both better than average but not elite).
