Grey Fox: Not from my normal source and can't get any sort of confirmation, but been told we might be coming back from Spain with some extra baggage. Please add some salt if you wish, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

Unfortunately, I used all the salt in my driveway the past week. It's Bale, I just know it!

Sorry if already news, Puyol is in partnership with De La Pena for his agency. They were both over at Spurs weren't they. Surely their visit must of been mainly transfer related although I accept for other reasons perhaps too.
So Bartra? Who is Sandro's agent, does anyone know?
With the Barcelona visit also.
Too much of a conincidence, no?

COYS

Unless something has changed (and players do change agents as well as having multiple representatives) its not Puyol

Probably not something you want to hear, well I don't, I want another striker in case Harry gets injured!:

Don't hold your breath for a new striker the checkbook is open but the gaffer is more than happy with the team doesn't want to upset the dressing room

Sounds like opinion to me. I'm adamant Poch acknowledges that we need a striker or two to beef up the squad and if they are gettable he'll want them in.

Agree. If he fully trusted our other options he wouldn't have played Kane in 99% of matches and wouldn't have only substituted him after 89 mins etc.

Obviously though he dosen't seem to want a short term solution (even a loan ) and is happy to take the risk. Not an opinion I share, but we'll just have to hope he's making the right judgement.

Re the latest itk, I genuinely admire Poch's stance on a happy dressing room but there's still nothing wrong with a short term solution if he can't find the right long term striker in January. This is our best chance in years to finish 4th at least, it will literally fall to pieces if Kane gets a long term injury. Another (better) Saha for instance, would be fine for a few months. Can give Kane and Son the rests they need for important games. He may not even be called upon but at least he's there if needed. Then Poch can concentrate on finding a proper long term solution in the summer rather than panic buy or buy no one now.

Totally agree and have been saying the same all window. There must be one number 9 in the whole of world football who we could get on loan.

It's a very low risk strategy too as if it doesn't work we are not committed to anything. The only downside is paying their wages for 4 months, but compared to the risk of our season going tits up its surely the better option?
